I did some research and found out Mercury is my strongest planet! Turns out I'm a Goddess of Mercury and not the moon after all  Any Mercury dominant people out there?  Can anyone tell me more about your experiences with being one or knowing people ruled by Mercury? IP: Logged |

Where did you find out about this?The report from Astro.com said Mercury is my strongest planet too.. I have it in my 3H, Pisces, conjunct my Sun & Moon.  I have to say communication is very important to me! I enjoy talking and chatting and I want ppl to communicate with me all the time! IP: Logged |

Hello again! I'm mercury dominant too! It's my chart ruler; I have it in gemini in house 12. I identify more with mercury than my sun conjunct ASC aspect. Interpretations for mercury in the 12th house are pretty accurate for me. Try looking up interpretations for where mercury is in your chart. IP: Logged |

I am Mercury dominant but Uranus is my overall ruler. I am erratic in my thoughts and gain knowledge from God knows where. I also have Mars conj Asc and Mars/Asc exact sextile to Uranus. IP: Logged |

I'm using astro.com  How do you guys find out your chart ruler? I'm still a newbie at astrology so I thought the dominant planet was the same as the Chart ruler. My Capricorn Mercury is in the 6th House with A LOT of different aspects for me to start research/analyzing IP: Logged |

The chart ruler is the planet that rules the sign on the ascendant, so for Leo rising, it's the sun. Dominant planets and the chart ruler can be different. Most times, astrologers say not to disregard the chart ruler even if you have other more dominant planets. I know a guy with 6 planets in cap. No matter what his chart ruler is, Saturn is dominant and important in his chart.

My chart ruler is also my dominant planet and is exalted in Virgo in the 3rd house. Mercury loves me lol In regards to your question, communication is a huge part of my life. I need constant conversation in different areas of my life--work, friendships, and relationships. I feel awkward being around people who don't like to talk. And by talk, I mean, all kinds of talk. I'm big on conversations no matter how crazy the topic gets. I also like to read when I'm bored (most likely on the internet rather than books). My mind just constantly wanders in the realm of thought. I'm interested in so many things and I get distracted or bored so easily. I am also good at analyzing things and proofreading as I can spot the slightest imperfections in everything. I like to know how things work and I have good memory as well. I'd say for you, your Mercury is strong most likely because it is in the house of Virgo, which is a mercury-ruled sign.

How did you guys get this? From astro.com? I tried to do my dominant planets, but it came out that i'm venus dominant. However, when I did my color horoscope, I was mercury dominant.. IP: Logged |

I am not mercury dominant myself but I attract mercury dominant people(I have virgo DSC, if thats helpful)A very good friend of mine is a leo sun with mercury conjunct her virgo ascendant, mercury being her dominant planet and BOY this girl can not shut up for 3 minuts(which annoyed me sometimes, hearing her continous chat about gym, her routine, what she is eating, what she is doing that day,classes, etc, if i didn't steer the conversation into something interesting she wouldn't shut up about that sort of thing)
I actually knew she was mercury dominant just from like talking to her two or three times.
She even says she just wants to talk, she'll talk to a wall for all she cares as long as she is talking, she is also extremely good with languages, she wants to be an actress, she loves the gym, she's very healthy, she has started writing a novel, and i mean in general there's never a moment of silence, she'll fill it with words. Another girl I like a lot who's a gemini sun, mercury being a dominant planet she feels very light and friendly, she loves to talk aswell and she is very easy to talk to in general, i am not sure shes so good with languages though,and she has worked carrying documents to companies before which i found interesting, comunications is her career(well future career since she's in university right now), I don't know her well enough to say more though. Another Mercury Dominant here! I have Moon and Mars in Gemini, Venus and Jupiter in Virgo, and Sun and Mercury in the 3rd house (in Leo).I would say my life is pretty surrounded by communication, yes. Not a whole lot of it, but in many different ways. I definitely think too much, often times have difficulty shutting my brain off, and sometimes trouble with filtering my thoughts and 'controlling' what I think about. I have some writing talent/abilities, and definitely have a way with words. IP: Logged |

Yeah probably mercury dominant here too.It's my ruling planet (sun in Virgo) and my mercury also sits in Virgo conjunct with uranus and pluto. Crazyyyy alert! Seriously though I suppose I enjoy communicating as much as I enjoy being a hermit. Weird paradox that. IP: Logged |
