Hi, so i read venus in the first can give some beautiful features to the face..
Will this placement need to be close to the asc axis or will it still be of influence at the end of the 1st house ?

My mom has it conj. The ASC and she is gorgeous even now at 61! But it's sext. To Pluto in Leo ( plus she has very thick , curly black hair !

It definetely effects whether it conjuncts Asc or not. My boyfriend is a triple Cancer but his Asc/leo is in Leo. My asc is Leo as well. He attracts people out of nowhere,he knows how to talk and manipulate/influence people. He is not my type at all but he has such an aura you just want to go to him and share a few words. Me, with same Asc leo without a Venus within it but a square to Pluto and Sun/Jupi in Aries,moon/mars conjunction in Taurus, look very annoying and unapproachable, i get enemies out of nowhere. I envy him the way he is seen by others to be honest.IP: Logged |

Venus in 1st doesn't always give a pretty face.But it does make the person more likely to be well-liked by many.Venus in 1st is very conscious early on in their lives of what is aesthetically pleasing to others. They often respond in a manner that is diplomatic and can be very attractive to people- even if not blessed with good looks. They often have a way about them- either in dress code or mannerisms- that makes them appealing to those who come into contact with them. Life can be seen as something beautiful and enjoyable to these people. Unless there is a Moon in Cap, Moon in Scorpio /Saturn conjunct, Pluto conjunct to depress things a little. IP: Logged |

Hmmm... not convinced. I have Venus four degrees from my Asc (Leo) and I look alright, but I'm not any kind of stunner. I do have Leo hair, though  IP: Logged |

I have venus in the first widely conjunct ascendent. I am by no means traditionally pretty but I have never had a problem attracting people, I think this aspects helps to soften me appearance wise and make me more approachable. IP: Logged |

one day i sat down and dreamed up my ideal chart and it had venus in the 1st (actually conj ascendant)  angelina jolie, beyonce, taylor swift, zayn malik and george clooney are all very attractive people i know who have a 1st house venus, just to put out some examples.i've also heard that venus conj jupiter (which i have!!!) is an indicator of physical beauty. also the sign your venus falls into would give your look a certain flavor, or at least factor into how much effort you put into your appearance. My mother has it and although I think shes beautiful shes been put down throughout her life by people telling her shes not good looking enough. Which is b*llocks but anyway. She has pluto and uranus rising too though, she can exert quite an intense prescence so maybe that overrides it. Venus aspects her ASC from the 12H too.IP: Logged |
