Topic: Ppl with Sun at 29th degree...which sign do you relate more with?

I have Mars gem@29.33, but it's RX...so I don't feel cancer mars I feel gemini.But for those with Sun/Moon @29th degree you won't have a retrograde....my question is do you feel more like the sign your in or do you feel more like the sign your moving into? Can you explain how you feel? IP: Logged |

I've got Apollonas(sun) at 29 deg. Gemini. I identify more with Gemini mainly because that's where Hermes(mercury), Aphrodite(venus), and Ares(mars) are, but I always feel the Cancer there too, kind of like two twins in a body.------------------
I call the planets by their Greek names.
Now please stop asking which asteroids I'm using? ^-^'

Awe so your gemini is really intensified by the conjunction of those planets on your Sun on the gemini side. I know a guy with sun virgo@29.37
Pluto libra@1.53
Merc libra@1.47
Mars virgo@25 He seems so libra...but his AC is libra also, just trying to figure out what sign you guys feel more like when your Sun sits right on the edge of 2 signs. IP: Logged |

They aren't conjunct with Apollonas, but rather on the other side, like beginning at 3 deg. and a sort of loose conjunction with Aphrodite (14). I think that's what keeps me more of a Gemini. As for your Virgo, that sounds like more of a 'balance' if I do say so myself. XD------------------

My Sun is at 29 degrees in Virgo  I relate more to Virgo side although Sun is the only planet I have it in Virgo. I have my Mercury in Libra and MC in Libra. I just feel like I am more Virgo because I relate to Virgo traits more. I worry a lot and I care about being healthy and letting others know how to be healthy too. I like to help others in general. (Not saying Libras don't) I just think I could never be a Libra for some reason. haha I am too anti-social to be a Libra. IP: Logged |

That's funny you sound a lot like this guy! For some reason if always related some of those qualities to being libra but your right they are more virgo.
He's super laid back and rarely has an opinion unless it's about health, responsibilities or helping in some way.
I have a virgo moon and libra AC/Venus/Pluto so I guess I mix all these qualities up when I think about them. You have libra/virgo going on to you might be more libra than realize....but from what you said...you do sound virgo!

Hmmm got me thinking maybe a Venus in Capricorn can help me out here but my Venus is at 29' Sagittarius...negative traits of a Venus Cap are: stubborn, cold, detached, pessimistic, gloomy...I don't relate to these at all!!!IP: Logged |

Another thing to consider is that in the progressed chart, planets that are natally at 29° move into the next sign very shortly after birth (unless Retrograde like Gabby's Mars). So perhaps that's where the whole "cusp" idea comes from. (I personally don't "believe" in cusps.)IP: Logged |

Woosh, that's a harsh list. Perhaps try: levelheaded in love; doesn't fall in love easily; cautious with his heart; doesn't invest himself unless certain of it being serious; not very spontaneous unless knows for sure it'll be appreciated; shy; socially withdrawn; uses his head to make decisions in love matters...

Yea maybe I come across as a Libra to other people, like I said I do I have mercury in Libra that does affect how I communicate. It is part of me!
But in the very core of myself I feel most natural with the Virgo energy. That is why I explained that I relate more to Virgo.
I assume it will be harder for other people to pick up my Virgo energy since I only have Sun there. My chart is actually very evenly spread out and I do have almost every planet in each sign so...

Aww I am sorry if that hurt Cap's feelings (lol do they even have feelings LOL)...I am socially withdrawn and introverted but I attribute that to my Scorpio Sun in the 12th along with Scorpio Rising :-(...I am spontaneous and never cautious about most things! Nah...I am def nothing like a Capricorn Venus...I am a sucker for love and romance.

Interesting that from what you say, you haven't had good experiences with Cancer energy. Perhaps it's all the Libra in your chart. So far it looks like no one relates to the next sign. Some say the 29° holds all the energy of the sign, and is therefore very powerful. But then again there's a theory floating around that there's a difficulty in making decisions when it comes to matters of the planet/house it's in. Hm. IP: Logged |

Ya, I've read so many differing options on the 29th degree....all I know for sure is it's a mystery! Lol I'm trying to get a better feel for it but so often the person with a 29th degree Sun has planets in the next sign, esp Mercury....so it's hard to discern if there really is such thing as the 29th degree having energy of both signs.
Personally....I don't think so...except for by progressions which makes it look like both energies are there right from the start. But that's just my gut opinion. I think that only because my retrograde gemini Mars has never felt like a cancer mars, but it would have pulled away from cancer so quickly...I wouldn't have known if really did or not I was just a baby when it was close enough to feel it. The guy I'm talking about doesn't seem that virgo'ish to me, but I kind of wonder if I'm so used to mixing my virgo energy with libra that I'm not seeing things correctly. He seems so much like me and I'm a mix of virgo/libra, and so is he so it makes sense.
I should just make up my own new sign that includes these 2 energies instead of trying to define them separately. Lol As far as cancer and me, not fun! Lol
My 1st ex was a double cancer Sun/Moon, my 2nd ex had cancer Mars/Venus
My son has a cancer Moon
My daughter is cancer Sun/Moon/AC/Mars/Venus......whoa! She's really cool but I feel sorry for the guy she gets with, he doesn't have a chance! Lol
I pretty sure cancer is a karmic sign for me, I struggle very hard to handle their energy and not end up completely drained myself, they tend to energy vamp me. IP: Logged |

My Sun is in Leo at the 29th degree, and I would say that I feel more Virgo than Leo at times. I have Venus and Jupiter in Virgo, though, and IC. And of course, progression-wise, I had my Sun progress into Virgo at a young age then. My Sun is also unaspected, so maybe that has something to do with it too, of feeling like I'm not quite sure whether I 'understand' the Solar energy. I do have a Leo Mercury, so I must somewhat relate and envelop the Leonine traits.IP: Logged |

Having planets in virgo would make it hard to discern what planet is causing you to feel which way....sad hardly anyone only has one planet, their Sun in a certain sign...maybe it's mercuries position that says if your going to feel both energies or just the one. If Merc is in the same sign you'll be pulled toward only feeling the one energy but if it's in the other sign you will feel both. Maybe it would be easier to find this out if we only asked moon ppl @29 degrees since the moon doesn't travel with other planets? IP: Logged |

I confirm that ... Although it is 29 degree direct or 29.xy degree, the native will feel/act as in the sign of the planet. I asked once in this forum for people who has Venus or Mercury 29 degree aquarius , if they are toward Aqua or Pisces more? The 100% stay in Aqua This acurate in a minute . If the natal chart has any of the planets in 29++ , they stay that sign too . But whether they manifest the quality as same as another degree (0-28 degree) , I don't know
