So, my internship finished right when Saturn is about to retrograde back into Scorpio for the summer. Of course, otherwise, it wouldn't be so fun!

It was great to taste the feeling of financial independence after 5 years in college. Unfortunately, as my contract is over, I moved back in with my parents for the summer while I'm looking for a new placement.

When Scorpio was in Saturn in 2012-2013, I landed terrible jobs/internships which were not in line with my personality or aspirations. It wasn't until Saturn was about to leave Scorpio in December that I landed the amazing opportunity which recently finished.

My question is:

Does Saturn in Scorpio (2.0) make it harder to find a new position?

How can one navigate this transit without feeling like it's the end of the world?

Thanks!

Interesting question.

Maybe reflect on what you learned during your previous Saturn in Scorpio experience - what was Saturn trying to teach you with all of the terrible jobs and situations? Did it help you pin-point your exact desired career path, or did it help you develop certain skills? Then try to apply these lessons consciously in your new job search, and Saturn might play along with you.

Even if this summer is 'unlucky' from a job search perspective, it's only a few months - the very fact that you landed a good contract during Saturn's brief stay in Sag, says that once it goes back in Sag later this year, you'll have similar energy in your life again

Thank you very much SaturnFan. Your post was very helpful.

I learned very important lessons during that Saturn transit. Mainly lessons regarding the fact that one shouldn't accept a job for the sake of having a job, even if the job is way below their skills.

I've also become a more rigorous person in every single aspect of my professional life (getting to work 30 minutes early, preparing projects ahead of time, paying close attention to details before sending a first draft, how to communicate effectively with colleagues so on and so forth ...).

I still need to "assert" myself (my last manager told me that this was my only "flaw"). Maybe this transit will allow me to correct this assertion deficiency I have.

But yes, I actually had a great career "breakthrough" when Saturn went into Sagittarius, in an industry I thought was too hard for me to get into (because I thought I didn't have the brains/shoulders to succeed in it). In the end, it was only my own fears/low confidence which were holding me back from pursuing this career path.

I still hope I can manage to land something by Saturn's second exit. I can already feel some pressure, thank God it's only a couple months long.

Does Saturn tend to send one terrible offers/circumstances so they can evolve into better positions?

Impressive, and very Saturnian!

Yes, Saturn likes restrictive and slow situations which force you to be diligent, disciplined, focused and patient in order to succeed.

In your case, since you've obviously mastered these lessons, the Rx period might not be as bad as you expect. In case it is, just look at it as Saturn in Scorpio's last master class, tailored to prepare you for a great job, which is awaiting you once Saturn entered Sagittarius again
