What astro links contribute to the feeling of being connected to a person?

Likewise, which links could contribute to a feeling of not really connecting? Like you are in the same room but on completely different wavelengths?

Strong Neptune links cause the feeling of the boundaries between two people being dissolved and they merge into one another.

I agree, strong Neptune in synastry. I had this with a boyfriend, I felt he was the 'one'. He was not though.

Strong feelings of being 'connected' involves the Moon of one interacting with the personal planets of the other.

So when you feel that you are not "connected" to someone, that link is usually missing/strained.

It could be that their Venus/Mars sits uncomfortably on your Moon or their Mercury squares it- creating a "disconnect" between what they are expressing(Mercury) and what you are feeling(Moon).

Often this aspect is linked to couples who talk and argue with each other, but fail to really hear what the other is saying;as we "hear" with our emotional side(Moon) and not the rational(Mercury)- contrary to popular belief.

It could also be that Pluto/Uranus are involved? Perhaps their Pluto forms aspects with your Moon?

Often Pluto/Uranus harsh aspects to personal planets between people can go along nicely for a while without creating havoc and then suddenly- break off.

Suddenly a light comes on and there is a "disconnect". With Pluto, this "disconnect" can be so painfully irrevocable that a break-up is imminent.

The Moon person is the one that feels the "disconnect" most times and is the one most sensitized to it.
