I'm still learning how to read charts and was wondering if any of you could tell me how I can find the type of person I attract.. whether it be friends / lovers And is there anything in the chart that shows how others view you despite looking at the Asc? Thanks in advance IP: Logged |

What you attract has to do with your ascendant (first impression) and your moon and sunWho you are attracted to romantically is for a women her mars + sun sign, and the houses they're in For a man his moon and venus and the houses they're in Also 5th house cusp for romantic partners and 7th house cusp IP: Logged |

how i see it, if someone would have a leo sun and they meet a leo rising they will feel familiar cause it's the same 'energy' but if the moon an sun is not compatible with leo sun it won't go anywhere.. It's when you 'meet' someone and 'know' someone they can be completely different.. like if you have a leo rising but your moon and sun are earth (virgo, taurus or cap) that won't go well with a leo sun but the leo sun might be attracted to you because of your exterior energy is 'firey' For example im scorpio rising and i attract alot of scorpio suns, but my moon and sun are air.. So if they don't have air or fire in their chart i won't be able to connect with them IP: Logged |

It really kind of depends on an individual basis. I have Libra rising, but have only personally known about 2 or 3 Libras ever lol.Depends on the whole chart really.. I would say that he ascendant definitely has somewhat of an impact though. Definitely a simple "starting point" to look at when finding the types of people somewhat might POSSIBLY attract IP: Logged |

Do you think it's more difficult for people with Sun and Ascendant signs that don't really go together? I mean, for example I am Virgo sun with Libra Ascendant. In my experience I have attracted Libra, Gemini and Aquarius type men on a physical level, however when we get to know each other there is an element of disappointment, especially with Libra and Aquarius men. With Gemini's it's a bit easier because there is a basic friendship level going on (the fact we are both in mutable signs and able to communicate). In other words, first impressions aren't necessarily the correct ones when you get to know someone. The guys I've ended up having the best relationships with are the ones I didn't like at first meeting! lol IP: Logged |

The Sun is at the center of attraction. All the personal planets & the Asc are attracted to the Sun. This is your starting point.Major aspects; Sun-Asc Sun-Moon Sun-Venus . . . Sun-Sun Sun-Mars
The last two are magnetic, hypnotic, HOT!!!, explosive. Let's look at Prince William & Kate Middleton When they met in 2003 his nAsc in Sagittarius had moved to 20° Capricorn. This was conjunct Kate's nSun @ 19° Capricorn. Speculation: Kate's Asc is unknown. One guess is Aries, another group says Gemini. A Gemini Asc would put her pAsc somewhere in Cancer around age 21. Giving them a DW Sun/Asc link at meeting. If her Asc is Gemini it would have to be around 6° or 7° to conjunct his 0° Sun. Charles & Diana At their wedding his pMoon was Cancer, conjunct her Sun. Her pMoon was Scorpio conjunct his Sun. IP: Logged |

House of your Moon and/or Mars... e.g If they are in the 5th house, you attract people with Leo influence (or the opposite sign, Aquarius). This is just a personal theory I have. I made a thread about it ages ago - and it seemed to work for a majority of people who replied, so I'm going with it. IP: Logged |

Can you pull up that thread odette? What about the DSC?? I've never attracted any scorp Suns or moons and I'm a scorp ASC. However I tend to always attract my Taurus DSC or 8th ruler Gemini. IP: Logged |

I think it's not a very easy question to answer. I hate to say that I think it depends on several factors in each individual chart. That's been my experience. IP: Logged |

I was thinking about 5th and 7th house. I hardly attract anyone who has Virgo planets even tho that's my 5th cusp. Yet I always attract Scorpio which is my 7th. I do like Virgos but they are never in my life.... My Venus-Mars are in Capricorn. Overall I think I often attract those with aspects to my 5th ruler which is my mercury IP: Logged |

Wow I never figured to think that we attract the opposite of our Rising. I do attract a lot of Aqua men... I don't think it helps my Venus & 7th House also happens to be in Aquarius lol I can't get enough of em, but I'm not sure they're the best for me.

I'd say synastry in general - everyone sees you differently, depending on their chart and how your charts interact / affect each other. But that's always tricky... As to the type of person you attract, again, it's not as simple as "X and Y", but more dependent upon the natal charts and the synastry (as well as progressions and sometimes transits). Very often though, we are attracted or notice people who have similar aspects to our own, such as there is some "mirroring" going on (especially when generational planets are involved). So for instance, if your Venus squares Pluto, you'll probably have a tendency to attract or be attracted to people who are Plutonian (especially in love) and who may have a Venus/Pluto aspect themselves (or Venus in Scorpio, or something else in Scorpio or in aspect to Pluto, etc). However I don't think there's any hard and fast rule when it comes to this. Some people are attracted to the energy they themselves lack. I guess we attract the kind of people / circumstances that we "need" in order to learn something or become aware of something, and what that "something" is varies with time and experience. Personally though, I've often attracted the energy of my ASC and South Node (can't differentiate the two since they're conjunct in my chart). As well as 4H (IC) and 5H. IP: Logged |

Hmmmm see im an aquarius rising and moon and scorpio sun and what i notice most is i REALLY attract other water signs "sexually" a little is from the scorpio sun but im pretty confident its my cancer mars to be honest i think its my mars sign than second would be my sun sign especially when it aspects someones venus i attract them, most peoples charts i have done that are "usually" attracted to me always have a water mars/venus and if its both they usually love me lmaooo BUT friendship wise i get along and attract all the signs that match up with my ascendant/moon and venus also my mercury sign so basically air signs and fire signs are my buddies hahaha we have a lot of fun together they match my more social asc mannerisms Am i the only one who thinks mars is HIGHLY influential when it comes to who we attract in a persons chart ? My mars is in water and even tho im air asc/moon and fire venus/mercury i still have that waterish vibe about me its hard to explain but its there and i see it all the time with other guys who have mars in water i also notice the more brash and abrasive rude type of people and its not an insult but people who come across more "rough" and very action oriented are usually mars in fire types and air mars are more curious and have a young fresh vibe and for the most part talkative unless outer aspects change that and i notice for the most part earth mars just have a subtle reserved unmovable type of air about them 9 times out of 10 i can usually pick out a persons Mars sign by element just by observing them for awhile Also it never fails that i REALLY attract cancer placements a lot but also just water sign suns/moons/venus but the attraction is felt stronger on there side and its vice versa when someones mars aspects my sun Or moon like im usually the one more invested when a fire or air mars aspects my aquarius moon or squares my scorpio sun or trines my sag venus im more attracted, for the most part i see equal attraction when my water mars trines another water mars I mean it makes sense mars is our sexual energy who doesnt pick up on that? And venus is a lot about harmony so your venus aspecting someones sun/moon/asc should bring a chance of friendship devoloping effortlessly based on the connection between values BUT its a different connection to say a mars aspect Im not saying asc/sun/moon are not important because thats our cores but i really seem to "attract" People "sexually" when my mars aspects them and i attract "friendships" when my venus aspects them and vice versa IP: Logged |

Attraction is based on where you are and what you are projecting that the people who are there are seeing and identifying with. IME the Sun/Moon are the "starting" point of all things. And their subsequent house positions determines "where" the individual is likely to focus their dual-selves in. Someone with Sun in 12th/Moon in 3rd may go through up/down motions and see-saw ;one minute they are out and about(Moon in 3rd) and the next minute, they are nowhere to be found(12th house Sun often needs to re-coup a lot more than other positions). So whilst this person is out and about, they may attract a certain type of people:Usually the social 3rd house/Gemini types to them. Whilst they are recuperating or taking time out in some retreat in the desert, they may attract 12th house/Pisces types to them. But wherever they go and whatever they are doing, they take their Sun/Moon combo with them and may attract people that mirror that dichotomy or people that can supplement that combo. The 1st people will notice that even though this person is talkative(3rd house Moon),there is a part of them that is elusive and mysterious(12th house Sun). Whilst others in the latter(12th house association),can be surprised to find that even though this person is spiritually inclined(12th house) there is also a strongly expressive and vivacious side to their nature(3rd house Moon) IP: Logged |

Well it has never been my 5th house (in Cancer), I could never match with a Cancer guy, not even other planets in Cancer. Back in the days, I was really attracted on Virgo placements, which is my 7th house cusp, but now I got sick of them. I only have friends with Virgo placements. Through my relationships and various stories I realised that I'm attracted to a mix of Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn that is like me. I think it has to do with your nature, I'm mostly a Pluto-Jupiter person, so I attract these people. Most of my planets are in the 8th house in Scorpio... So my opinion is check out which planet, sign and house are major in your chart.IP: Logged |

AND THEN THE PENNY DROPPED! I always seem to attract Leo men or be involved in a thing with people who are Leo Rising/Leo moons and significant people in my life are Aquarius'! I never understood. My Moon and Mars are in my 5th. However, my Venus is also in Taurus, so I also like someone with abit of stability - an earthy type.

If your looking for your ideal partner, the one you will be with for life...look at the ruler of your 7th house. Where is at it, what condition is it in, how is it aspected? My 7th ruler is aries/Mars My gemini mars is in my 9th-I need mental stimulation from a partner, intelligence, I probably like him to be a bit of a guys, guy rugged but spiritual 9th house, educated and intelligent. I like assertive guys who go after what they want. In the 9th house could also mean my ideal guy will be a foreigner or my teacher in some way. My mars only aspect is to my 2nd house scorpio Uranus- I could like my guy to be a bit kinky and unpredictable. Our relationship could evolve seemingly out of nowhere and from odd circumstances. The relationship will be something of huge value to me(2nd house) and quite likely very sexual(scorp Uranus) and bring me some sort of security, most likely helping me out financially(2nd house)

Interesting, my moon and mars are almost opposite (moon in 4th house, mars in 10th - actually it sits on my MC). So that must mean I attract Cancer or Capricorn men. I've only really had 2 Cancer boyfriends (from what I've known). Was also in a long relationship with a Cappy. All those relationships were pretty sexy. lol Why am I always attracting Libra and Taurus/Gemini cusp men though? My love life is one massive ball of confusion. IP: Logged |

Doesn't work for me. I have 11th moon, 9th Mars. I don't like Aqua moon for romance and I really don't like sag Mars and Venus. I have friends who are gem Mars and Venus but that's it. Leo moon would be opposed my sun so that's another story. I haven't enjoyed them romantically tho i can Adele myself dating a Leo moon IP: Logged |

^ Hi! Do you attract either Leo men, Aquarius men, Sagittarians or Geminis... more frequently than other signs? It"s not so much about who you find attractive. I mean, you *might* find them attractive. But the main thing is, whether they seem attracted to you.IP: Logged |
