Come August--transiting Jupiter will be conjunct our ASCs! I've heard this means good luck and that this upcoming year will be good...

I am also worried about the annoyed Saggy Saturn transit. It is square my natal ASC/Sun/Venus(I have had bad time this year), then square NN and then my natal Saturn. Who will win at last, my natal Virgo Saturn or transit Saggy Saturn.

I'm guessing I will most likely let his hair grow long again..might be linked to Jupiter transiting the Asc for him (physical changes).

But we'll see. He's really thin, so gaining weight would actually benefit him.

Age 9 is an important year. He's having a SN "return." His Moon sign "story" will play out over the next twelve months.

I also just went through Saturn being on my Sun and now it's on my Mercury-yay.

When a Jupiter transit hits, you should work EVEN harder.

Discipline, Structure and organisation --> OUT
Expansion, Luck and Optimism --> IN

Don't let Jupiter's attitude fool you, use all the positive traits to surge you forward!

I just had my SR ASC exact conjunct Jupiter conjunct my natal Jupiter(2*) on the 10th/11th house cusp. My career was booming, and I was going out and partying every night, but with Chiron right there as well, I got sick a lot in between and it was really hard to loose weight. It was weird-I would be in the gym EVERY day and eating healthy but instead of loosing weight, I toned up really good.

The second my new SR started, I lost 10 pounds, and I cut my gym time in half. lol

Saturn is trying to do you a favour, (Whether or not he is at the moment). But yeah, all of those traits will be highlighted in you during that time, you'll feel great about yourself, but please don't overshoot the marks/eat loads and not exercise/become a 'know-it-all or arrogant'

Not to be a downer, but the last transit Jupiter made conjunct my Asc (late 2003, summer 2004) was brief, and not a good time or a good year for me. I got some temporary relief from the intensity of health issues and other issues. I did have a more active social life. I made a meager attempt at a garden and was outdoors more, but it was a classic case of how longer-term transits determined my experience during that time. (Pluto square natal Asc, Pluto contra-parallel natal Sun-Saturn, Neptune square natal Saturn, plus some less powerful Uranus transits.)

It is always something to look forward to, but with the principle in mind Robert Hand points out in his book, Planets in Transit, that you only get out of the world as much as you put into it.
