I was curious if anyone here is avidly childfree.If so, what kind of Uranian aspects do you have in your natal? Are they close aspects? IP: Logged |

I'll go first. I have sun sextile Uranus at 0.22 degrees.My boyfriend is childfree (for now! I don't know if he plans on staying that way forever though! I certainly hope so) and has Venus sextile Uranus at 0.26 degrees. I think I am more committed only because Uranus (the desire for freedom) is on my sun which means it's part of my identity, the core of who I am. Venus is a little bit different in that sense. It just means needing some space in the way you conduct your relationship. Maybe alternative living arrangements, etc. I am especially interested in how the hard aspects manifest with Uranus, if they're more common in childfree people. IP: Logged |

Sorry but your boyfriend is a childless fence-sitter.I have Uranus-Neptune-Sun (in this order) conjunct. 4 degrees between each. ASC trine Uranus 2.
Other Uranian influences: Aquarius Venus, Uranus in the 4th, IC ruler in the 11th quincunx Uranus (actually, it's a yod with the Descendant), Uranus conjunct DSC ruler. I realized I don't want to be a mother when I was 21, what about you? Btw, not sure when it happened exactly but I can tell tPluto was approaching my Uranus and tUranus was entering my 8th house 
Don't you have your Sun and Venus in Aquarius?

Uranus sq Venus
Uranus trine Mercury
Uranus sextile Asc, Mars 0.01 degree
Uranus semi square Moon and Sun
Uranus conj NN, IC
Uranus opp Jupiter
Uranus sq Saturn I had a miscarriage when I was 19 that was really bad and although my gynecologist said that it absolutely had nothing to do with anything I believe in fate and seeing as I haven't been able to get pregnant since then (19 years), I have a feeling it's not meant to happen for me. I do have visions and longings of becoming a mother but also have this nagging feeling that it will (as it does) alter my life to a point where I will feel claustrophobic and I don't trust my Saturnine "duty" and "stability" to see me through that. Uranus is very prominent in me but sadly, Saturn is as well so that's that for an ongoing battle :-/ IP: Logged |

You can't be both. If you're trying for a child CF is definitely out of the question. quote:

This is so interesting!I don't want to have children, I'm simply not interested. At a point I might adopt but I'm still thinking about that. I'm actually getting myself neutered/+partner. I'm Uranus dominant..
its in my first house.

Don't you have your Sun and Venus in Aquarius?
I never wanted them but realized I didn't HAVE to have them around my early 20's. The realization that you don't HAVE to when you get older was the greatest discovery of my life until this very day.
And yeah I have Sun and Venus in Aqua. I think because he's a guy he thinks he has all the time in the world should he ever change his mind  so he's simply not worried about it. IP: Logged |

Uranus in my 1st House, Uranus Trine Mercury and Uranus Trine Moon, with Venus and Mars in Aquarius. I've never wanted kids, despite having a packed 5th House that includes Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Venus. IP: Logged |

I want to have kids just not now [will be 30 in July]. I mean $**t there are times I feel like a late-blooming teenager.
Kids IMO are a humongous responsibility and nothing to mess around with, I wanna have them when I feel responsible enough to do so, plus when being with the right partner.IP: Logged |

I'm childfree! I remember vehemently feeling that I would never want children as young as 14 and I still feel that way 11 years later. I have Uranus opp. Jupiter at a 0° orb
Uranus trine Mercury at a 1° orb
Aquarius at the cusp of the 5th house (house of children)
Plus Moon/NN/Destinn are all in Aquarius I also know someone who at 52 has been childfree by choice They have Uranus conjunct Mars at 1°49
Uranus quintile Sun at 1°11
Aquarius on the cusp of the 3rd house
Though strangely they have Jupiter (in Aries) in the 5th IP: Logged |

My ex was so avidly child-free, he went in for a vasectomy at age 18; the doctor refused to do it but he finally found one who would a year or two later.His Uranus is in the 11th house; only aspect is a 1 degree trine to Saturn. I can't say I was avidly against having children, but I never got the urge, it never happened, and I was never the least bit distressed by it. I'm now way too old for it to happen even if I wanted to. My Uranus is in the 7th house, widely square Sun and Neptune. IP: Logged |

I am an aquarius sun, ascendant,and Venus. Uranus is my chart ruler and forms a stellium with neptune and mercury in the 11th house. All of those planets trine my moon in the 3rd. I guess im the odd one because I love kids and I hope to have my own one day. IP: Logged |

Im quite Uranian according to pullen (read:very much so). Idk, I am childfree but im not at a stage in my life where I think about serious stuff like this too much. At the moment: defo do not want them and definitely not for a while because Im all too aware of the responsibilityand stresses that come with it...
I still want to be free for now aha  Personal planets Sun-mercury in 11th, uranus squaring chart ruler and sun and opposite my ascendant.

My guess is that you will have kids. Fencesitters usually do eventually. So that would actually make you childless, not childfree. Childfree is the term used for the 20% of women who don't have them and by age 45, still haven't - they never change their minds. Some of that 20% were never truly childfree, they wanted them and attempted to get pregnant but failed to have them for whatever reason. Or maybe they settled down/met the right guy too late. My guess is that only about 10% of women are TRULY childfree. My other guess is that that 10% is disproportionately Uranian.

I think I can be considered childfree person because I am almost 36 years old, not married and don't want to have any kids. I am not fond of them.I don't have planets in Aquarius. But Moon conjunct Uranus about 3 degrees in 3rd house, trine 11th house Cancer Mars. Uranus is trine Mars, widely Square 12th Leo Mercury. IP: Logged |
