Well, that worked lol

I remember posting something on the lines of "A child runs around an open field freely and happily".

The 1st image that popped into my head when I viewed your placements.

So last time I wrote, it was with regards to Virgo Mars in 5th conj Jupiter(Yes I remember that).

That aspect formed a challenging aspect to Uranus and Neptune in 8th.

Well, with the sidereal zodiac,Uranus and Neptune fall away and the zodiac planets "end" with Saturn.

What is also included however,is Rahu and Ketu(to my knowledge). And these two points- otherwise known as "the lunar nodes" in tropical astrology- are taken very seriously in the sidereal chart.

Whilst studying both systems,i realize that there is a great deal that they have in common actually.

The only difference is that the Vedic/sidereal system has a very stringent- even one could say- "set" way of natal chart interpretation.

Tropical system is more open-ended. Less "centralized" -so to speak.

What does your sidereal chart look like? The planetary aspects will stay the same- even with the possible house changes. Only thing that may factor in is Rahu and Ketu- if they aspect the planets in question significantly.

Muhaha! I knew it would I believe that post is considered a personal reading post, although I wonder if this post violates anything?

Oh, I think I confused you btw, sorry! the chart posted in that thread I linked is actually my sidereal chart - notice the S on the houses. But you did indeed post "A child runs around an open field freely...". Which was on behalf of my tropical placements. BUT, it still feels like me in some sense... maybe not physically, but mentally!

My tropical placements for mars conj. jupiter is Libra 6th house, and Uranus/Neptune in Cappy 9th house...

Also, I understand vedic doesn't use any planets beyond Saturn, but I find that a bit closed minded, and like you said, very stringent! I feel the need to incorporate the two planets anyways! I mean, THEY'RE THERE! right? How they can not have an influence, to some extent?

Oh ok.

The interpretations are really quite similar.

Although I must add that I can confidently say that Neptune/Uranus sitting on Mars in 6th can make the work life well..... interesting!!!

Often times when Mars is aspected poorly, it can feel like a volcano gathering steam for an explosion.

And sometimes even more dangerously- an "implosion".

The Mars-Neptune talks of frustration that is difficult to articulate but is there.

It also speaks of latent anger or reacting "out of sync" with a situation.

The Mars-Uranus speaks of a touchy, temperamental nature. Sparked off by restlessness really.

Fierce protectiveness of one's will and what one says that they will not do, is imperative.

You won't force your will on anyone(Uranus is not about that). And you don't EVER want anyone to force their will on you.

So if you are dealing with a work environment where people are telling you what to do and are micromanaging you. This can spark things off to fiery fantastic end.

Oh look at me going on and on What is it that you would like to know exactly?

I was just curious as to what sticks out the most between my sidereal versus tropical placements of my mars/jupiter & Neptune/Uranus square, that would help me see which one feels more like me.

Ultimately, I'm trying to test the sidereal/tropical chart. It easier for me to bounce ideas off of people sometimes. I had a lot more to add, but it's just not transcribing into text - it's just floating around me

I have found them to be quite similar IME. So the descriptions might be very well the same.

But again, personal preference governs. And not all may agree on which is the best.

I think the difference could be the sign energies involved. I myself really struggle to see which is "better".

It actually raises the debate on which dominates? The sign the planet is in or the house the planet is in?

Does it matter that one has Mars in Virgo 7th house cusp in the sidereal zodiac when Mars in Libra is also on the 7th house cusp in the tropical system?

Do the houses for your positions change much? If not, telling the difference between the two will be that much harder.

Also,I think that Vedic system uses the whole sign system. So with Aries Asc,Moon in Cancer will automatically fall in the 4th house.
