What is your experience with a strong first house?
I have a first house stellium in Leo with the Sun, Venus and Mercury there.
What's your take on it? What's your experience of the first house? Do you see it as positive/negative etc?

I also have a first house stellium. Capricorn with Venus, Neptune, Mercury, and Uranus and the Sun in Aquarius cusp.

I like having my Venus and and Neptune there. But generally I don't feel like my Sun and Mercury are there. Mercury actually conjuncts the AC, which is supposed to make me social and talkative. So does having my Sun in the first but I am really not good in social situations. I don't think I make a great impression on people. But that could be Neptune deluding me on how I see myself haha.

One thing I've heard about first house stelliums is that other people see it as ''being full of one self'' which makes them like you less. I can say this is kind of true.
Many people tell me that when they first met I came off as if I thought I was better than them and acted bitchy.

But I guess other placements and the aspects have a lot to do with it. A cap first house and a leo first house are very different.

Randall and lalalinda - Thanks!

Yeah, my experience of the first house is somewhat the same, although also very different I suppose. People also tell me that when they've first met me they've found me intimidating or bitchy.

I'm also extremely self aware, which I'm starting to think has something to do with my first house.

I guess having your Sun in the first house really itensifies the Sun sign and makes the person really identify with it. Atleast that's true for me - I'm really a Leo out to my finger tips.

I know a guy who has Scorpio Sun, Jupiter and Pluto all conjunct in the first house (Scorp asc too). He has a small frame and is only like 165-170 cm tall. Very square and masculine face. He has this penetrating presence presence and is very confident. Many people "fear" him I don't know a better word for it. Everyone knows not to fk with him even though he is such a small guy.

He is very me-centered, loves to win in anything and absolutely hates to lose, even in playful games!
