I realised last night I have the most fun and witty interactions with other mutable signs (I'm Virgo), especially Gemini. Maybe it's the element of unpredictability in them. I also have a Pisces male friend who is a nutcase and pretty funny, although I wouldn't touch a Pisces with a barge pole romantically.

So do you find you have cool (as in fun, not frosty) relationships with your fellow fixed, cardinal and mutable brothers/sisters? If so, what is it about them you like?

I'm an Aries and other cardinal signs feel more like a learning experience than a lot of fun to me. Hanging out with them is often difficult. I've always had trouble understanding Cancers and I have to try really hard not to say something which might upset them. Same goes for Capricorns and Libras. I don't really feel I can be myself around them. As for my fellow Aries, I don't really know many of them, but they are also the ones to learn from since they provide me with mirror images which can be very useful. Fun...not so much. Sure, we understand and (usually) like each other, but it rarely gets any deeper than that.
