I have a Pisces Mars and I hardly ever drink. When I do it's maybe one or two beers or glasses of wine and that's it. I don't drink to get drunk and I know my limits. A Pisces Mars doesn't always have to be about addictiion, it can also represent a pursuit in spiritual or other worldly matters such as tarot and astrology.------------------ http://astrologicallyyours.com/ IP: Logged |

i agree with abc333i have mars in pisces and indeed, when i was young partying, i used to drink one beer and then i went for more with some self-agrandizement feelings but a lot of people has this feeling when they are drunk expecially when you are young. but soon as i hit 24 yo i stop to party and the drinking. no alcohol in my life. no smoke. no drugs. But i am very spiritual. i do astrologsy since 10 years now and i am interested in a lot of esoteric field plus i am doing a master leading to a phd in psychoanalysis now with mysticism and ascetic icons as my main work. It doesn't. I don't drink, and I wish people would stop seeing this placement as weak. Tea, on the other hand... IP: Logged |

Is there a square to the pisces Mars? I knew a pisces mars(in 12th) square saggy nep and gemini venus. He was the most hardcore addict I've ever met, he could lie and hide it amazingly well..put himself through college to be a surgeon addicted to Heroin and was top of his class when graduating. He lost his license once he started practicing medicine due to the medical board becoming aware of his addiction. He was clean for 5 years, got his license back started using again, medical board found out again and took his license again. He overdosed a year ago, it was intentional. Pisces energy gives a tendency towards escapism behavior but the rest of the chart shows how which direction the person will go with it. To much stress and they might turn to the shadow side of pisces, but with a decent amount of support they might instead turn to the high side of the energy. My son has a pisces Sun, he's strong but his moon is taurus and AC/Mars is scorpio, both supporting his pisces Sun, his Saturn is also trine his Sun. His Pluto does square his Sun by 6 degrees but yet he's able to overcome this due to the supportive aspects. IP: Logged |

It just depends. I don't have Pisces, but 12th. It's also known for this problem. I hate drugs and I'm not such a big fan of alcohol. Never have been, though I will drink a bit from time to time. Mostly to me it feels like a prison. I'm very aware of my new limitations on functioning normally. I value my awareness too much. I escape in other ways. Usually just being alone. The more alone the better! (Like deep in the forest, etc) IP: Logged |

Why Mars in Pisces? Out of all aspects in your chart...?What is in your 12th house? Or maybe the 4th or 8th? How prominent is Neptune in your chart? What about your Moon? Or Pluto? In fact, even as much as Neptune is known for escapism, the Moon is also very important in those regards.. (Especially in regards to addiction) Of course, so is Pluto.. The thing is, the moon deals a lot of where we go to unwind.. Or the place we go to find comfort.. Sometimes, even the place we go when we feel there is nowhere else to go. So, for some people, that equates to drugs/alcohol.. (This may seem similar to how Neptune functions.. However, I think Neptune operates a bit differently..) Pluto, of course, can be very obsessive. Of course, this could be an obsession with a substance.. But, it can also be an obsession with something that makes us want to escape.. Neptune/Pisces/the 12th house deals with escapism.. But, I feel the other two planets/houses/signs I mentioned have a bit to do with it too. (I plan to either add to this post, or make another one in a little while..) IP: Logged |

I have a Pisces Mars. I used to drink a lot, I mean.. a lot. Started at 14 and this year at 25 my New Years resolution was to lay off liquor (though I allowed myself to dabble in wine full well knowing I can't stand wine). Alcohol is just no good. Very lower-Neptunian, dulls my intuition. I've grown to love my Mars as it's the most well aspected planet in my chart - nothing but sextiles and trines all around. Hell, it's even apart of a grand trine with Jupiter and Pluto. Any time I truly put my mind to *something*, Mars will make it happen in due time. It's the tortoise to society's hare but it gets the job done. IP: Logged |

I've always wondered why anyone would do that to themselves (the hangovers). So far, I haven't done it, because it would just add to problems, and I've been around alcoholics since I was a child. It never helped them.Mars square Moon/Venus/Nodes in Gemini, trine Uranus/ascendant, rules Aries Sun, co-rules Scorpio ascendant. IP: Logged |

I have Pisces Mars in 10th. It conjuncts Pisces Mercury (Retrograde), Aquarius Sun, squares Gemini Moon, Gemini Ascendant, Scorpio Uranus.I drink a lot! I drink beers, vodka, etc... but I have never got drunk, and have never had hangover.. I like to drink, because alcohol gives me energy and makes my mind clearer than usual IP: Logged |
