I'm feeling the need to get OUT of where I am. I feel like my life is too safe. I've travelled heaps but i've never ventured out to live abroad. I have been given the opportunity to do so when I was younger in my teens and 20s and always felt i wanted to but since i was always in a relationship i never grabbed it.
I don't want to live with regrets. I'm in the middle of re-evaluating my life and where i belong etc. This year has been a huge year for me so far in that i have left an unhappy 10 year relationship, improved my appearance, taken on a new study course and met different people, increased my confidence - saturn transiting my 1st house.
Now i'm feeling as if I want to go overseas for a while but of course there is the fear that it won't work out.

My question is, is this shown natally?
I have cancer jupiter in the 9th and venus there too. Where else should i be looking in my chart?

Or is it transits/progressions? If so which? Uranus has been transiting my 6th aries and is currently conjunct my vertex o*.

What does it mean to Work Out?

And who says it has to be forever?

Venturing beyond your safety zone isn't a bad thing--

what you gain is life experience... it's about the

experience, whatever it may be.

I ALWAYS learn something about life and myself whenever

I venture off-- something I tend to do every 5-8 years.

And I always come back home (my state)... and that's good.

The last time, I was only gone for about 7 weeks... but

I had no idea of that when I left.

I was prepared to stay though... turns out, it was more of

a search than a destination.

This is true! I have always felt the need to "get it right and perfect" and I guess it's time to let go of that old thought pattern.

That is so cool that you do that every so often. I wish I could pick up and leave that easily. I think half the problem is that I've relied so much on my family and being close to them for 'safety'. This is something else i need to change, this pattern of needing to be cushioned. It's time to do something different....but the fear....damn that fear lol.

9th house placements, and from what I've read, 12th house placements too. This is true for my s.o.

I don't have any 9th house placements, but I have a packed 12th house. I've lived in different countries and I have a serious case of wanderlust. So I move a lot.

Throughout my childhood, my parents moved around quite often. At first I didn't really like it, but then it eventually got to me I guess. Staying too long in one place usually makes me feel as if something is lacking in my life.

Best of luck. I don't know your situation but I almost always encourage people to take chances. Maybe it will work out, maybe it won't. But the important thing is you'll get to try. At least that's what I always think. When I'm old and grey I don't want to look back and think "Well, if only...".

I have travelled all my life and also lived in other countries from age 19, that's 19 years with itchy feet

I think I'll pin this down to my Jupiter in 9H conj MC and maybe my stellium in 11H that always long to connect with "groups" and "friends" and in my case those groups and friends are in other countries.

Itching to travel...Jupiter in 9th H!
If you don't feel like actually travelling, mix with foreigners, learn their language, culture, food or do something foreign to channel energy while you are at home. You were meant to explore through foreigners. OR you could also immerse yourself in further education such as going back to college/uni to study, do research etc.

Ehh... it's been difficult before, too.

And the time in between keeps getting longer.

I appreciate home more now, than ever, I think.

But I don't regret going-- I've seen some really cool stuff.

And it was good for me.

I'm stronger than I gave myself credit for.

You have Jupiter in the 9th, which also houses your Venus.

The desire is there-- you'll go when when you're ready.

This video.

Idk how it relates to the song, exactly... which is pretty stalkerish. o___O

Still love it, though.

But it would be amazing to have the opportunity to do this kind of traveling.

Funny i find i am always studying something whether its photography, dance therapy or something else. I tend to attract a lot of foreign love interests too which is indicative of a 9th house venus.

What transits would actually push people to pack up and leave for another country? just uranus ones?

Well, I know one girl that cannot be on one place for longer period of time. I had looked at her natal chart, and I remember that she has Taurus NN. Description for it was that person may avoid to settle down (something like that). I remembered that I thought this describes her perfectly, although this maybe could be too broad aspect to judge.

i am going to give some thought on your chart as i love your style, this is uranian power, i have also natally uranus in scorpio in the 3rd ant it nevers cease to amaze me.

what really shocked me in you chart is that you have only one square (between 2 planet), jupiter-pluto but it's a square involving 2 heavy planet then none personnal planet is involved in a square...i always look first at square because it deals with energies, i bet you act in life without any resistance, inner struggle are easily overcomed with right decision and clear sight yet, the mercury in opposition to neptune blur the vision sometimes particularly on your acquisitions and values which undergo some transformation at time to serve your own needs. You probably at times acknowledge you were living with false values or uncleared path of life then you make radical changes with you renewed view of the world.(sag nepttune in II-VIII axis)

of course your 9th jupiter and that venus on MC(trining ASc wide orb) make you craving to learn and discover new horizon, gain new experiences but that square from pluto in the 12th create some tension with any official course and teacher especially college professor, so you are probably exploring sideways course and training and all alternative knowledge or artistic fields with that venus on MC. Yet the conjunction moon-saturn-mars show that you have a great leadership(saturn is in leo) and be able to command and direct people(moon-mars) with great drive, people like to be directed by you, you can discipline their life and lead them to their full potential, plus that pluto in the 12th is like gathering all bad energies from people and converting them into good vibes. But that uranian sitting on the ascendant look at same time humanitarian but also very individualistic, maybe this qualities i listed are even boring for you because you have to discover new ways, your own way and you cannot lost time shaping others when you want to shape and refine yourself continuously.curiuously, at this point, i wonder : " ok, so what this chart wants for her in order to blossom?"

paradoxically, north node is in the 12th ! i was a bit confused since this chart show so many point to travel, to lead, to be in action all the time, a need of space and large horizon. It's like north node recall that moon-saturn-mars for a more disciplined and confined action, the mercury opposition neptune is great for all body therapy and sports like dancing indeed, body move, plus some dancing style can be very spiritual. I think this way is very good for you, both healing and spirit is always landing when the body is moving through beats and vibes. i remember some tai chi style are very philosophic and make work the mind, even they make the mind dreaming, in hun yuan tai chi there is move where is it said : " dragon catch the waterfalls" "arms embracing clouds and skies" etc... very mind working.

yes yes and yessss!!! this is so true. I have a lot of determination but the issue is that i don't trust myself very easily and therefore I tend to go through life not really living by what is important to me because its been hard to know what IS important to me. It's like my last relationship. I went along with it for 10 years and then suddenly woke up to the fact that i was floating through it like a plastic bag and it's not what i needed anymore. I decided to cut it off. It's what i've done my whole life. cut things off drastically after a while, like with friendships - knowing that this is the right thing for me to do in order to evolve and grow. This year, I have begun to realise what I really value and i'm taking steps for ME. With my inner struggles, it can be difficult as i feel i am tested so much - my mind runs away with me too and i need to be careful to bring myself back into a balance. it seems like such an effort to do that sometimes but i always come out stronger in the end. I have always had a 'don't give up' attitude and great determination and faith that I'll be ok.

You hit the nail on the head I always wondered why I don't stick to one thing in my career. I have a HUGE passion for the arts and won't settle for a job at a desk. it would drive me insane. so i tend to be an entrepreneur in my field and i've always looked for different ways to do them. I also tend to attract people in the arts especially romantic lovers - i guess that's my taurus DSC.

I have always been told that I have great leadership skills. I feel like i can influence others and that they listen to me. I love to inspire people to go above and beyond. I wish i could do the same for myself and have more trust in my abilities too though. I'm getting there.
Dance is my saviour. Ever since i was a child I have always wanted to be on stage and i did for a little while although i don't think i gave it my all. I've been told I have great stage presence. I feel my most free and alive when I dance, especially commercial dance styles like lyrical and hip hop. I am a huge body oriented person. without it i'd be lost. I have done tai chi so funny you shoudl mention that I loved it and had a transcendental experience where i saw colours and shapes. I'm big on meditation too.

I never knew i needed so much space until recently. it's strange. I have been in co-dependent relationships my whole life but now this is changing. i have always thought of myself as a safe homely, status quo person but i wasn't living through my authentic self at all. Now i can see why.

Is it a good thing that i only have one square? i guess my chart is overtaken by quintiles and biquintiles lol.

so would working overseas be a good option for me?

yeah for sure, i can add more : it will make you happy, because the 2 planet of Joy: venus and jupiter are in the 9th.But, as i said, i don't think it's the key of your true happiness because your 9th house is in cancer. it means your joy is to live in another country taht will be your new home(cancer) for life, so choose well your country may i suggest france ?

but it means also your own country(cancer), travel and rediscover your own country and choose a place of living that fits your inspiration. maybe close to the sea or any water streams it will calm your sun-mercury opposition neptune.

this 9th venus-jupiter in cancer make me think of someone who will establish accurately his home and when you enter this home it's like you will travel in the world, a chinese kitchen then the vietnam spa then more esoteric tones for chamber etc..

you can also live abroad and change country year after year

ant the ultimate thought will be and that's what i think because of my 9th house taurus moon, is you will never leave the place but you will travel a lot with your mind from your place. 9th house = the thinker in large ways. BEcause that scorpio ascendant make me think that you like esoteric fields also otherwise you won't be here, i thought immeditaly of someone who can do astral shift plane, but i will not recommend to do this since you have a bad neptune.

for the square no, it's not a bad thing of course who is goign to complain to not have squares lol...i have also one square only but i have a personnal planet involved in it : /but nothing that lessen my godlike chart, when someone lack square or opposition it can make him lazy but you have an elevated mars so i guess you are pretty active and plus disciplined(virgo mars) and steady(saturn high in the sky also) in whatever you do.Plus, you know how to focus on one task. I suppose what trouble you is that you live a crisis at some point of doing something, why i am doing that? what's the purpose of what i am doing ? then, you consider everything you did and you doubt about your involvement, because you feel it doesn't bring you the happiness you can got somewhere else(jupiter and venus in 9th make you feel that), and you cannot know the answer because neptune blur the way, all the bad neptunian effect blur the vision in some way you have to discover yourself by fumbling. But your uranus(in trine with jupiter) will help you for sure with sudden revelation, truths showing the way.

But i can tell you from my point of view, that it is not the idea of travelling you have that will bring you inner peace, it is something way more spiritual with pluto, uranus and north node in 12th you cannot escape this. if i suggest a trip, maybe a country like himalaya bouddhist and all the matters related.

even more personal thought, i see someone more into spiritual research when i see your chart learning old languages to transform it in a new language, you will be an expert at this. in my town, at the university there is a girl who make research in phenomenology(husserl etc..)and apply it to the dance form. The best thing i can tell you also that Soren kierkegaard has a 12th house north node, it speaks a lot maybe read something from him and see how you feel his writings.

wow you're good! so much of what you have written resonates with me.
hahaha I wouldn't mind living in France, I love the place :P

I've always wanted to live by the sea and hope that one day I will. That's why I love LA so much too. The beach is so expansive and I feel so free there. Plus there is a plethora of artists/creatives there and dance is amazing. WHen I was there in 2009 I was given the opportunity to stay and train under this amazing choreographer who saw great potential in me. Did I do it? NO argh..I was in a relationship at the time and didn't think it was an option. doh!

I do astral travel, but not by choice. Ive had a few unwanted visitors and really have to make sure I protect myself. It's so frustrating somtimes when I'm sleeping and suddenly find some unwanted spirit in my bed rustling the covers and annoying me. It's like "how dare you do that!".

thanks so much visions

it surprized me to hear that you want to escape a place like LA when everyone in the world look LA like a perfect place lol...France sure doesn't look and work like LA charm or las vegas, however, if you want an idea there is some nice surrealist place like in connecticut, for example, la bretagne. Yet, i won't denigrate my country because there is very nice place but always outside the big town.Otherwise brad pitt won't live in France i guess.

I have two sides to me. One loves serene, quiet places and the other loves the wild, party vibe. Hence the gemini lol. I go between the two but I've come to a stage in my life where i want to be more 'out there' and extraverted. I spent many years, especially during and after my saturn return wanting peace and tranquility, hated partying, drinking etc. But now that's changed. I guess a balance would be nice. I love LA because the people I met when I was there were so passionate about their art and so willing to explore it in more depth than Aussies - especially dance. I just connected with them so well. Where in France do you live? I have heaps of French friends here in oz.
