Topic: Transit Pluto square Sun - Experiences?

My sun is experiencing almost exact square from transit Pluto. Should I be expecting some upheaval my life? Anyone experienced this transit? I'm afraid this will be another rug pulled out from under my feet. My sun is in the 6th house and afraid this will create another upset work wise. My transit Pluto is in my 9th house at the moment. I also my sun parallels my Pluto natally so I hope that will help weather any upcoming storms. IP: Logged |

Wow, things to look forward to, huh?Astra, where was transit Pluto when it squared your chart? What house is your Sun in? The Nicole Brown story gives me chills. I actually found out yesterday that a former co-worker was hit by a car and killed. So far, I am paranoid at work thinking there is some behind the scenes power play going on. Or someone is being false with me. Deception of character. Im also a Taurus rising so I am suspicious of people because of my descendant placement. IP: Logged |

I fell in love and emigrated within 13 months. My natal sun is in the 12th...it was also opposing my natal moon in the 9th..My natal pluto is on the asc. ------------------------------------------

Hi Aquarian Moon, your reading of a possible power play going on at work is definitely a possibility. It may be that you'll need to assert your will and/or stand up for yourself, that you may be challenged by someone, more likely a man who has a dominant or domineering personality. Or, could be a major change, ending or new beginnings in your work or work environment, personnel, policies, etc. I'd look at your 2H and 8H for transits to those houses and their rulers, which of course will tell you something about your employer's finances and your own, which may be useful additional information. With the Pluto transit in your 9H, your beliefs, philosophical or spiritual moorings may be undergoing radical shifts or changes that could have a bearing on what you do for a living or your health. As for Nicole Brown Simpson, she had a natal Sun-Pluto square, a Saturn-Pluto trine, and a Venus-Saturn opposition, all of which tied into her fate. So, in my opinion, transits need to be assessed within the context of one's birth chart. They trigger what's in the chart. Unless there are aspects in the natal chart that have correlations with violence and/or murder, I wouldn't worry at all about a hard Pluto transit manifesting in the same way it did in NBS's life. How Pluto transits play out can vary significantly from person to person. Also, how we respond is an important factor that is often overlooked i.e., attitude, understanding, level of maturity and wisdom.  IP: Logged |

Hi Peony. Thank you for your answer. The more I think about this transit, I wonder how much of it is intuition or speculation on my part. The object of my paranoia seems to work best with me when we talk in person more, but she has her sun in Pisces. I feel like she hides herself and puts on a front. No offense to Pisceans. It's just my feeling with this one. My Pluto is sextiles her Saturn and Jupiter, but her Pluto is opposite my Ascendant. I hate when others' Pluto touch my personal planets and ascendant at work. My 2H and 8H rulers are in my 6th house. IP: Logged |

I will have this in a few years, if not before. It scares the **** out of me. I've lived through the opposition to both my Sun and Moon/Venus, the square to Mars, but this is scaring me, because of what I could lose. IP: Logged |

My cousin was murdered by a random stranger during her Pluto square Sun transit. This was very, very recent. I can't believe I am typing this right now actually, but I have to get it out of my mind since I looked up her transits for that night. She also had tMars square her Sun, Mercury and Venus. i have a 6th house aries sun and i survived. uranus was also nearby at the time, i pulled my own rugs if anything. i think i threw myself into a new job which eventually led into a new relationship which turned out to be a bad move, and by that time saturn was involved aswell (opposing sun). the career move was a good one, the relationship wasn't, particularly.IP: Logged |

This is not the time to go "fight the power".Since your sun is in the 6th house, there could be power struggles at work, or issues with your health. And because pluto can be sneaky, these things may sneak up on you. Pay attention to your diet, and try not to antagonize folks at work. However, try as we may, change is inevitable. So, now you acknowledge it is a square, but not what you consider to be "as powerful" as a "real" square. How ironic. The Sun square Pluto in Nicole's chart describes, in part, O.J. Thank you, Belage, good example of transits triggering natal aspects. Even so, someone else with the identical t-square wouldn't necessarily have suffered the same fate as Nicole, and didn't since many people had this t-square at the time of their birth. But, aside from karmic considerations, if one of these people had been seeing a therapist who could help her make this unconscious part of her conscious, it's likely these very powerful energies would have manifested in a number of different and non-lethal ways. Archetypes, including planetary archetypes, by their very nature, manifest in many ways. It isn't wise to get locked into narrow interpretations. Neither does it serve others. IP: Logged |

^^^ I agree it is not wise to be locked in certain interpretations. Many people survive Transit Pluto square sun. I went through it years ago. The thing about Pluto is that it can also help us get rid of things that have lost usefullness. So transit Pluto square sun is a great time to lose excess weight one had been carrying as a shield. Great time to lose dead weight in the area-house where the sun is located. IP: Logged |

Interesting that you say that. I've lost 16 pounds in the past four months. Now that I think about it, I became serious with improving my health when the transit may have been exact. I also had an injury in January and a health scare in April that kick-started my mindfulness in how I take care of my body. That could be Pluto forcing me to take my 6th house issues seriously, or else face health-related consequences. I think I figured it out. Cool.
