I have Uranus conjunct my sun as well as Uranus conjunct Neptune!!

Everyone thinks I'm weird I used to get made fun of for being out there when I was younger, and became a hermit. But I've finally gotten out of my shell and found people that appreciate it. I also have tons of Aqua influenced people in my life so that could also be it...

To answer the question:

Honestly it's hard for people to impress me as being truly eccentric. Sometimes I feel like people are trying to convey "I'm so weird!!!" and it doesn't even register.

Maybe I just like Aquarius and Uranus too much...I'm really open to it.

I'm not sure which my daughter would be considered more of, Aqua or Uranus but her hair does go from green to blue to lavendar to purple, pink only once and she dyed it a different color very quickly because she said everyone was doing pink, so she didn't like it! Lol

Her best friend, of 10 years, is another aquarius sun. Their birthdays are only a few days apart....her best friend is equally odd!

Hi Gabby,

First she's very Uranian for sure. But practically all Aquarius sun go through the rock chick, rebellious phrase especially during their teens. I'm heavy Saturnian (Saturn conjunction sun in 10th) and I was very into Avril Lavigne Sk8ter Boi sorta look. Bea Miller is another aquarian and Shakira too. But later in life they kinda tame down coz Aquarius is a fixed air sign after all. It's not gonna change just for the shake of changing because Aquarians like to feel like they got it all figured out

A person with sun aspect to Uranus on the other hand struggle to be their sun sign while also has to assert their individuality ... Especially if their sun isn't an air sign

I agree. All the Aquarians I know are more Saturnish than Uranian. They are all very responsible and hard working people. Rebels ? not really. But there is something different about the way they approach matters and can always look matters from a different -but grounded- angle.

On the other hand Uranian people I know are unpredictable and child at heart. And a bit crazy. They don't have a flatline existence that's for sure.

I'm probably more Uranian than Aquarian (Aqua ASC, NN in Aqua, Sun square Uranus, Moon conjunct Uranus, Neptune, Uranus and Moon in 11H), and while I find Aqua influenced people nice and easy to hang out with, I usually find them a bit boring (no offence, love you guys anyway ) and not unconventional enough. They are normally "wannabes", trying hard to fit some particular alternative image, group, they try hard to be special, when they end up being a rebellious cliche. That's totally different with us Uranians, with me, people simply can not define me, I escape the conventional connections between what's one supposed/expected to do, if he thinks, says that etc. I surprise people all the time, completely unintentionally, it just comes naturally.

I believe the feature that renders us so strange is that we need to be constantly "entertained" by our environment. I have the attention span of a five-year-old: I cannot focus for more than an hour on anything that doesn't challenge me in some way, or that isn't novel. I'm the first one to admit that often this isn't an advantage, especially in a profession that requires constancy. IMO this this the root cause of our weirdness--we don't try to be different, we simply try to "entertain" ourselves, which in our case means surrounding ourselves with an ever-changing environment... and this leads to the reason we don't care about trends: a trend means repetition and, for an Aqua, repetition means boredom and emotional tiredness.

Aqua women may not usually want the white-house-picket-fence-2.5-kids-married lifestyle that "traditionalists" extol (see Oprah, Aniston, Heather Graham, Ellen, Paris Hilton, Sheryl Crow) or may want the traditional but still want it to be unconventional in some way if they do (see Sarah McLachlan, Doutzen Kroes, Jasmine Tookes, Rutina Wesley, Nastassja Kinski, Shakira, Laura Dern, Barbara Hershey, Rosamund Pike, Geena Davis, all in or were in interracial marriages or have huge age gaps from their spouse or long-term partner), but that doesn't make us eccentric per se, especially nowadays... just different.
