Hey Everyone,

My Saturn return is right around the corner (this December). I'm already feeling it a little, and I'm scared of what's to come...my last Saturn Square was awful. Worse than awful.

Terrible
Horrible.
Ready to slit my wrists and call it a life kind of awful.

Please tell me your stories and how you managed to survive your saturn return. I want to know it's possible

I have Saturn in the first house in the Natal so my Saturn Return wasn't difficult, there were just changes. Not all of them were good but I did them with my eyes wide open and I take responsibility for my actions. I think I was bored and being an Aries with Mars in Gemini I made quick life changing decisions, very spontaneous that I wish now I had taken more time contemplating.

The number one thing that happened during my return was I started taking my responsibilities seriously, being immature was no longer an option.

My Saturn is in the 10th house. My Saturn Return ends this September and my life isn't any different except for buying a house.

I strongly suggest you take the time now before your Saturn Return to reevaluate your life. Do the hard work now to make your Saturn Return much easier. If you know you are on the wrong path (i.e wrong career, wrong relationship), start making changes now. I made many difficult decisions and went through a lot of pain years before my Saturn Return had even began.

Saturn in the 6th house in Libra.

My Saturn return began with an ex dying unexpectedly. Then a job loss and a traumatic event that required months of therapy. I returned to work for a nightmare woman. It ended right before I changed jobs where I am much happier now. I've been through hell, but I am stronger for it. Things are so easy now.

Please tell me the sign. Would your Natal Saturn, plus your December return be in Sag? Also, using equal house, please tell me which house your natal Saturn is in. I will try to help you understand your return a little better if I know the Sign and House.

A Saturn return is nothing to fear if you can understand it better.

Saturn in 7th (Virgo), close to my NN, so the lessons were fairly similar and inline. All my relationships had to die in the psychological sense so that new 'relationships' could be born with two centers interacting instead of a mish-mash of centers influencing my ego-self.

Now I'm an expert at one-on-one relationships and know how to build healthy ones, restricting and limiting people from intruding upon my space and boundaries, whereas before I just didn't know what that even meant.

Overall, was it a depressing time? You bet, feelings of loneliness and not knowing what to do, where to put my passions, etc. But I've evolved out of it and am ready to do my part to make this world a better place... even if it's just my small little world

Thanks for all the stories! Keep them coming! I enjoy reading them, and the advice is invaluable.

@astra That makes sense. Im glad it wasnt a difficult time for you. I feel like i might not be as lucky, like the world is telling me to get it together and become an adult lol

@aquarian moon Im so sorry you went through that. Your return must've been difficult, but Im glad you got the help you needed.

@PlutoSurvivor My Saturn is in the 9th house, Sagittarius conjunct with Uranus and Mars. The main things i notice is difficulty in my career and change in my beliefs. I love my career, but i feel like the universe is telling me to step up and take it seriously. As for beliefs, Im leaning away from my Christian upbringing into a more universal oneness, if that makes sense. Not sure how the whole house system works... My astro info is 2/23/86 8:15 am Orlando, Fl.

@SDragon I'd rather have 1 good relationship than 100 mediocre ones. Even though the lonliness probably sucked, it sounds like your return was a blessing

I'd love to hear more experiences, I am in the almost at the middle of mine and it is not going well. My saturn is in the 10th house, along with venus, saturn, uranus and neptune.

I had my heart broken so badly in February, every day I woke up and felt like I was going to die, went to see a psychologist etc. The guy completely ruined me mentally and emotionally and then disappeared, when we had talked about marriage and met parents etc. Then has gone around telling everyone I was too desperate for wanting to live together and progress as a couple even though we had been together a year and would spend every night together and half the time he was the one initiating the convos. He was just trying to justify the way that he has acted toward me because he know he manipulated the **** out of me.

This month I got fired for 'misconduct' from a job where I was already being grossly underpaid and was trying to leave, because they wanted our whole team to be casuals and I was the only full timer left. The incident they're using are hardly misconduct and now I have to explain to future employers why I just up and left this job, try and fight back legally etc.

Also I'm trying to get out of a bad financial situation since I finished my degree so I'm really panicking.

Everything is getting ripped away from me. Not that they were in my higher good to keep around but the job thing did not need to happen like that. I worked really hard, they made the team manager redundant months ago and I took on all of her responsibilities in addition to my own. My living situation isn't much better, I have a housemate who is a complete sociopath/control freak who tells me to be quiet when I am in my own bedroom or even in the living room on my phone.

I'm in the process of trying to build a brand but that's going to be near impossible without any income. It's the only positive thing in my life right now.

I got over agoraphobia, and felt more hopeful. I was happier, despite something going on at the time. I felt good about myself, too.

One of the downsides was that I started having dizzy spells. I had migraines occasionally, but this was dizziness that had me staying in one place. That happened when Saturn would be closest to my natal Saturn, but hasn't gone away over the years. Although I can usually connect it to tension or something else going on.

I had my Saturn return in 2016, Saturn in Sag 2nd house, I remember I moved to another city during that time for work, only for 4 months and it was frustrating, I was kind of depressed, I didn't want to leave home really, I kinda had a taste of independence.

I remember it went retro and direct over my degrees and I was paying close attention to it, I made more money too but in general it was a good time, now that I look back of course, helped a lot, give me strength.

This feels relevant to my current situation -
So, one could say that having a Saturn Return in the 10th House can be one of the most challenging of all the Saturn Returns, if not the most. However, you’re also really used to being pushed, whether you respond to it by breaking your back or by trying to avoid all the critical voices. A Saturn Return is not a “punishment” for everything you’ve done wrong. But, if anyone could take it as such, it’s someone with Saturn in the 10th. You might feel, during this time, that all of your hard work has come to nothing. A Saturn Return in the 10th often times really stalls career matters, to the point of putting a person in a professional slump. And no matter what you do, you keep hitting a wall. This either results in relentless frustration or the resigned feeling of, “Yep, I’m a failure. It’s confirmed.”
Since the 10th House also influences us in a widespread social manner, you harbor a lot of fears and doubts (Saturn) regarding what people think of you. These issues can really come to a head during your Saturn Return in the 10th, particularly the first. There might be a certain scandal attached to your name that makes you feel like you’re on the cover of People Magazine. In some cases, it can be damaging enough to make you lose friends or to threaten your career.http://astroarena12.blogspot.com.au/2016/05/saturn-in-10th-house.html

Everyone around me are always telling me I am the hardest working person they know, that I am very good at my job etc - even my coworkers before I got fired! Yet it feels like I have no control, cannot progress, and am never recognised for my work, even worse I am getting punished.

I feel like I am being pushed to start my own business sooner, which is my end goal career wise. I want to provide for myself and not have my livelihood in other people's hands.

Got the courage to leave a toxic relationship after 4 years.

My supervisor was let go and I was promoted to replace her. I had more work responsibilities and brought on an assistant to help me.

There was a lot of change going on in my life, but it was for the better.

Oh god mine starts in September as well. I'm moving out of state and excited but equally nervous. Mine is in the 8th house conjunct Venus, Uranus, and Neptune -_- In equal houses, it's in the 9th house. I can resonate with the 9th house to a degree , considering the move and all the choices I've made during and post college, buuuut the 8th lol.

Ugh, looking back on this post I can see my Saturn Return was as bad, if not worse, than what I was afraid of. I've talked about the events here before. Also, my natal Saturn squares my sun, which probably worsened the effects. And Neptune was busy squaring my natal Saturn at the same time. A triple whammy.

What I can say, without a doubt, is that I could not have prepared myself in any way shape or form for my Saturn return.

My saturn return was fine. I think Saturn Square my Moon while conjuncting my Sun/Moon midpoint is a lot rougher.

Just about to finish my Saturn return in 7th house...It made me really look at ALL the relationships in my life, including ones with myself, with career, with passion...literally everything.

I started feeling the effect of the return 3 years prior (where I started questioning everything that I knew about the world), parts of it were intense and very painful, and I cut off some unhealthy relationships. But I feel like I needed to go through this inorder to grow.
