I just met someone online and Venus is Rx. Needless to say, I am very weary of this. It seems like when Venus goes Rx someone always comes into my life. We completely hit it off, but I am not sure how to approach this. His sun sign is in my venus sign...(Venus in Gemini), which is nice...but again.... Venus is Rx

How should I approach this???

I think you should get to know him but don`t get in a relationship with him take those decisions after the venus rx is over, its not good to enter new relationships during this time. Your feelings might change after this period so its best to wait with decisions like that after its over to see if you feel the same or if things are going the same between you. Just keep it cool and chill.

Just don't rush into anything because he or you might have a change of heart once Venus goes direct.

Same goes for past relationships.

Since you just met, I'd recommend not rushing to make it an official relationship. Honestly, I feel that way about all relationships, but I also have Venus conjunct Saturn in Libra in the 8th, so I don't take relationships lightly, and I take my time getting to know someone first. I don't think that Venus retrograde dooms a relationship, but I think it could point to a Karmic love from the past. It is interesting though that the retrograde is in your first meeting chart. Even if you haven't met in person, the energy is still present in that event chart.

I was looking at past Venus retrogrades, and it turns out that my ex and I officially became a couple during Venus retrograde in 1999, after being friends for over a year. There was also a solar eclipse hitting our natal North Nodes, and my Descendant. We were together for over 14 years, and it wasn't the easiest relationship, but I wouldn't change it for anything. It made me who I am today. Actually, he has Venus retrograde in his natal chart, but I think it went direct the day after he was born. We outlasted every other couple that we knew, so starting a relationship during Venus retrograde doesn't mean that a relationship won't last. I do believe that we had some major Karma to clear though, and a lot of lessons to learn from one another.

What about if you decide to be together during the shadow period--as in the day right before Venus retrogrades?

Is it OK then?

Or how about the day after it goes direct?

I wouldn't worry too much.

Just take it easy and get to know each other like otters have said.
Which by the way would be my personal advice, Venus rx or not.

I've not followed that advice myself, but I do think it's good advice.

Listen to your inner voice FIRST AND FOREMOST - ALWAYS.
