We need some better energy here!! I decided to make this thread because yesterday at work I received a little note that was an "On The Spot Recognition" from my manager in the middle of working. It said that I totally rocked my budget yet was very efficient when the store was busy and messy. I was tearing up I almost cried I gave my manager a hug <3

I have no idea which transits were involved with this BUT my guess is Jupiter in Leo conjunct my Moon in Leo (because of recognition) and the moon rules my sixth house.

Add your stories along with transits that you think were involved!!

Last Thursday I was hugged by a 12-year-old boy "just because."

I'm proud of how he's become so self-confident yet nice, polite but not spineless and will assert himself as he feels he must (which are usually for understandable reasons even from a mature perspective). I think of him as like Harry Potter in that way, strong without being obnoxious about it, affectionate without being clingy or manipulative about it. I worry about when he starts to rebel but his older sister didn't rebel that much so maybe I'll get lucky with him as well.

Sun and Mercury had just entered into Leo and rapidly approaching a conjunction (and he's a Leo sun himself) with Leo Jupiter sextile Libra moon that day and maybe that inspired him to express himself that way? Perhaps also noteworthy is Venus was in Virgo that day which matches his natal chart, though perhaps on a more superficial level I was doing his laundry and his Taurus moon probably appreciates that.

That is so cute PixieJane! I absolutely LOVE kids. I spend my free time watching blogs about kids oops. The cutest little girl was with her mom yesterday and for some reason she would only listen to me and I felt so special!! My Leo moon definitely loved that.

So cute.

My family went to an amusement park yesterday, and we all had a great time. The park has these giant life-sized dinosaurs, tucked into a forest, with hidden speakers that play jungle bird calls and the sounds of distant dinosaur roars. I realized about halfway through that I couldn't stop smiling. Honestly I felt like a kid again...I was just so happy.

The sun is transiting near my Leo ASC, trine my Sag Venus.

A couple of nights ago, I was walking to the train station (I live in NYC). There was a bus a couple of blocks away that I could have taken, but I don't usually like the bus because it takes sooooo long to get me home.

All of a sudden, I notice a small boy... maybe around 9/10 walking very closely to me. Mind you, it's quite late for someone his age to be out at this time, especially by himself.

When I stopped to pretend to look for something in my bag, he stopped too. So I turned to him and asked him if he was okay and needed anything? He asked if I could walk him to the bus stop and wait until the bus arrived.

I swear, it was the cutest thing ever. I wound up waiting with him until the bus came and went on my way. I don't know the transits as I don't really follow that.

THAT IS THE CUTEST THING EVER.

I'm not too sure about what's considered normal in NYC but do kids normally go off on their own late at night?? That would make my Venus in cancer go into super motherly protective mode.

I guess it depends on the parent and their views but I have seen a lot of kids walking around by themselves and I'm just like why??? I would never want my future kids out by themselves. My mom never let me step foot outside the house alone either lol

Not all kids are like that though, there's many parents / guardians with their children. But when you do see those select few alone, it definitely makes you wonder. Or maybe that's just me and my always seeking answers Aqua venus

One boy, 13, told me I had to walk him home after I chanced upon him one afternoon but he had a crush on me.

As for some ten year old boy, I'd guess he lost track of time while playing video games or watching movies or something (even homework at the library is possible). It seems so many have phones these days (though schools don't allow them) and plenty will even include tracking software. When I see little kids out at night they're often on them obviously explaining to someone (like a parent) where they are and perhaps begging for more time before having to come home or to stay over.

Of course there are darker possibilities that are common enough, but typically speaking kids like that don't ask help from strange adults (another possibility however is that the boy tried catching the bus earlier but was frightened away by someone looking scary and possibly even menacing toward him, in which case I could see him doing what he did, particularly if he was new to the city). I'd have asked while waiting anyway, but then I tend to be curious (and talking with little kids is often an entertaining experience for me).

I totally agree! And my parents are super strict so I totally get how you feel but kids need to be looked after!

I always hope it's the best situation! And the boy with a crush on you reminds me of when I was at the mall and some little boy said "I seem to have lost my teddy bear (I was just about to say I'll help him find it) can I have a hug?"

My 10 year old son recently has been in the hospital. After being there for 2 weeks and being away from home, he asked me one day while we were cuddling watching a movie....."Mama, do you remember when you told me you loved me so much you couldn't live without me?"
I said, "Yes, I do"
He said, "Well now I know, I love you so much I couldn't live without you either" then he broke down in tears! My heart just completely melted!

This reminds me of something from December 2012. We were in the cafe at Barnes and Noble, Christmas shopping on a snowy day. This little girl, who seemed to have just learned how to walk, was walking carefully around the cafe, as her parents kept an eye on her. When she looked at me, I smiled, and she *beamed* at me, the most beautiful, warm smile. She made my Christmas - maybe even my year. She kept doing it, because I smiled again at that, and she beamed back.

Gabby, I hope your son feels fantabulous!

And teasel, I love your story. I always find that the littlest things make my heart happy.
