Guys, I think I've just hit the soft underbelly of the Aqua with a Cap venus. We were best friends before this - it was a really fast friendship given that we connected so well mentally and would talk till dawn - the conversations were fantastic. We're mentally quite similar despite coming from different family backgrounds and life experiences. Back when we were (fast) best of friends, I noticed that he would treat everyone around him in a demeaning manner or that he was completely unemotional with them - detached, one would say. With me the whole time though, he has always treated me nicely and he tells or asks me certain things he wouldn't with other people. Anyway, I developed feelings for him and confessed first as I'm generally very straightforward and don't like to play games.
Recently, everything happened so quickly. He hooked up with me (Cap mars so very sexual) - I initially thought it was a one-off hook-up but it persisted and now it has come to the point where he is vulnerable with me. Aquarius(es) are so sensitive underneath! He gets so emotional with me, and doesn't quite know how to be alone without me. Also extremely affectionate, showers me with a lot of pecks, kisses and the hugs are the best! Or that there is a pained look on his face whenever I leave or he spams me endlessly when I'm too busy to reply or I'm not around (though to be fair, this only happens when he is done with work). The Cap venus is really manifesting though - he wants me to follow him everywhere (I have a life) and gets upset whenever I'm too busy. He's a busy person too, so he should understand! According to him he's turned on by how feisty I am, and my go-getter tendencies, apart from the mental connection. But wow, this Aqua is really really really reaaaally sensitive! Should also mention that his playlist when I am around composes of extremely sentimental or sad love songs. From the cold, hard exterior to this - he tells me that nobody sees this side of him (except his exes of course). IP: Logged |

oh hey i am an aquarius with a capricorn venus.i have to say, i always have a soft spot for leos. i can imagine why he likes you. your leo sun and leo venus must be very affectionate for him, nothing like he knows before. and you must be more romantic than him i believe? he is probably all warm and fuzzy now with your love. he would want you by his side all the time, cap venus is like that. i hope you two will be happy together  IP: Logged |

First of the ability to be vulnerable with someone else has a lot to do with the relationship and chemistry with that other person. So he might not be as soft with someone else.Nevertheless yes Aquarians are very soft inside (generally speaking) or let`s say emotional, they just don`t often know how to handle it and do not like to let others see that (of course there might be Aquarians who are not like that, I am well aware of it). I think it might have to do with where the dispositor (Uranus, or if using traditional ones, Saturn) is postied. With a cappy Venus, Saturn-sign and placement might become quite important. I know for me both, Uranus and Saturn, are "hits" I have an Aquarius Moon, Cappy-Venus and Sun, Mercury, Mars in Sagittarius. Uranus - Moon-disp- in Scorpio
Saturn - Venus-disp- in Cancer
Jupiter- everythingelse-disp- in Pisces And I feel that certainly, it`s like a stream underneath.
Alternatively the antiscion sign of Aquarius is Scorpio, some sort of shadow or reflection of that sign.
"Underbelly" describes the antiscia quite well actually. Scratch at the detached surface of a (textbook) Aquarius, and you might be surprised about the dramatic emotions they hide.
Mind you not EVERY Aquarius in the world.
Well for my Generation it is hard to discern as we have the dispositor in Scorpio anyway.
