Topic: Question(s) about Solar Returns

I just want to begin by saying that I'm new to Solar Returns, so please excuse my ignorance. My question is, when looking at a Solar Return Chart, do we also look at overlays to the Natal Chart? I've seen some interpretations for Ascendant overlays, but what about everything else? I'm noticing some interesting aspects in my upcoming Solar Return (since my birthday is in a few weeks), regarding Venus. My Solar Return Venus is conjunct my Solar Return Midheaven, and both Trine my Natal Midheaven and Natal Saturn. My Solar Return Venus is also in my Natal 1st House (as a side note, Mars is there as well), and my Solar Return Moon and Saturn both overlay into my Natal 5th House. Venus itself is in the 9th House, though, within my Solar Return. I have no clue what any of it means. If overlays are considered, perhaps creativity and/or something romantic? No clue. Yep.. In regards to solar returns, overlays are one of the most significant things to look at. However, the solar return chart itself says a bit by itself too. If you want, and are willing, I could look at your solar return for you.However, I would mostly agree with what you said about those aspects you mentioned. IP: Logged |

Venus conjunct the MC in a solar return means love is going to be the main theme of the year and you may meet someone really important.IP: Logged |

What if your solar return looks super scary with loads of hard aspects and hardly any blue??

im so over difficult years.....like really. i'm sure other things like progressions and transits come into it. i'm not going to base everything on a solar return.edit: just realised the mostly red one is for 2016-2017 so i got a bit of time yet lol IP: Logged |

The interesting thing about my Solar Return is that I can already see how some of it will play out (since my plans already kinda correspond with it), even though I still really don't know anything about Solar Returns. One of the websites I found when researching said that but also said that the IC means how it will turn out. Do you agree with that idea? I also read that Venus in the 9th can mean that you are in an existing relationship but want to take it to the next level. The tough thing is every website kinda has their own interpretation of Solar Return aspects, plus there aren't a whole lot of websites that list aspects with the meaning. But, it looks like it's going to be a really interesting year!!

Well SR Pluto conj. MC turned out to be literally having to deal with a stalker.
Next year I'll have Sun conj. MC followed by Moon conj. MC the following year.Venus in 9th interpretation doesn't apply to me. Perhaps it will mean, you will be loving all things 9th H e.g. dealing with foreigners, foreign travel, higher education, publishing etc... IP: Logged |

Oh wow. Stalker? Damn. Well, it was only one interpretation. But that was only supposed to be one of the many things that it means. It was just that in the context of the article, they were looking at relationship stuff (it was like the second article I found when searching for Venus in the 9th House of a SR). But there are all kinds of meanings to everything. So, we'll see. IP: Logged |
