Topic: Wrong Conclusion - How I missed my Mothers death

In Sept last year, my dear mother was diagnosed with colon cancer. She had major surgery and got one of those bags placed.I had looked ahead to check major Transits in my chart, & my siblings.
I noticed at once that Saturn would be conj my Moon (& my brother's) in a couple of years...THAT must be when we lose her, I concluded. She'll still be around for a while, I concluded to my relief. The surgery went ok. She went home. Had outside help. But problems occurred in the coming months ..She had to be re admitted to hospital eventually..
More surgery. I went down & was with her every day morning till night for nearly a month..
I went back home after her health seemed to stabilise, meaning to return soon.
But I stayed away longer than I meant to..
In the back of my mind, I still believed she'd be ok and with us for some time.. BUT she died. I was so shocked.
Never saw it coming. All because I had falsely assumed that trans Sat conj my Moon would surely be the time ! (Instead, Saturn was conj my Sat in 8th house when it happened..But I never suspected..) Just goes to show how one can make false assumptions ..

I felt so gutted. I felt her calling me
but didn't listen.. I delayed my return..
In the end nobody was with her..
Jupiter was conjunct Venus that day, in my 10th house..
I SHOULD have/COULD have been with her..IF I'd listened to my intuition..

I am very sorry for your loss Swanlake. But please do not blame or feel guilty for not being there. You need to tell yourself that you did what you thought it was best at the time, you acted as you thought it was the best way.
You love your dear mother and believe me she was not alone, your heart was right there with her all the time even if your physical body was somewhere else.
Beyond time and space love prevails. You need to find strength where you think you don't have, but you do and that strength is right there in the love you and your mother share. She is with you sweetheart. Be strong. I am sending lots of peace, love and strength to your heart. Take care of yourself, be gentle and loving with yourself. Be at peace  IP: Logged |

I'm so sorry for your loss, I think that would be your Saturn return how many times did it go over your Natal Saturn before your moms passing? Was it its final pass?. I hear Saturn returns can affect us in many ways and yours landed in the house of death 8th. Again I am sorry for yous loss. My condolences to you and your family. IP: Logged |

I am so sorry about your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts. I know that no words can undo what happened, but please remember her during her happy days.Regarding the astrological aspects, I never try to guess someone's death based on them. I don't think it's healthy. For what is worth, my mother passed days after t-Saturn entered my 4th house, but I don't expect every parent on Earth would die under that transit. I'm so sorry for your loss, Swanlake When my dad died last August t.Saturn was conjunct n.Pluto (H2), t.Pluto was conjunct n.Uranus (H4) and t.Venus was conjunct n.Chiron (H10). Strange how Saturn or Pluto are always the culprits when it comes to major life circumstances like this. IP: Logged |

May you find peace in communion with her spirit and the endless love we're all made of <3 ....When my Dad passed away Pluto was conjunct my Moon. It was very rough. I now feel completely at peace, 3 years later... assured of the presence of his spirit in my life. I felt a lot of guilt but I know he loves me and only wants me to be happy now ♡ IP: Logged |

Thank you so much everybody . Brought tears to my eyes to read & feel your sympathy.(Yeah, I never thought to check her progressions.. just saw my Sat/Moon transit down the track and jumped to conclusions)

Im so sorry but dont beat yourself up. Eveything had to happen the way they happened because thats just how destiny works. When someone battles an illness for so long, one day you will be happy that they didnt have to suffer longer than they did. And I dont know what your beliefs are but the souls of our loved ones are alll linked to us so in one way or another one day youll meet up again.IP: Logged |
