Anybody ever feel this way...?

I'm an 8th house sun. Scorpio Asc as well. I generally get along (at least platonically) with Scorpio suns.

But sometimes... I see what they're doing and think "You're doing it wrong" (it being acting like a Scorpio, at least in my mind). Like they're learning to be a Scorpio. And of course, being Scorpio, its pointless to tell them... Even if they understand, they're still going to do it their way...

So, my question is, How do you all relate to the sun sign that is the house your sun is in? Like, if you're a 7th house sun, how are you with Libras, or as a 10th house sun with Capricorns?

It's like I often say.. Houses are really probably THE MOST personal part of a natal chart. Not only does the time you were born affect it, but so does where you are born.

I really resonate with my 8th house Sun.. However, in my case, I also have my Sun opposite Pluto in Scorpio. And.. Having some other prominent Pluto aspects in my chart.

I think sometimes the importance of houses are overlooked. But, that's my opinion.

I'm a 12th house Aquarius sun. I feel like i'm an aquarius with a pisces flavoring to my personality. To answer your question I think pisces people are usually pretty cool.

8th house sun and Scorpio asc too. But I don't get why I never attract them into my life. It's so bizarre. I can't name one Scorpio friend.

Yeah! Same here. I've only had about one somewhat close Scorpio friend. However, I've met quite a few people who are quite Plutonic outside of that.

7th house Sun with Scorpio ASC, I feel this alot. I want everyone to share equal views and values. For example, no-one is more powerful than anyone else, and I hate it when people get moody because they can't have something.

Ironically, both of my parents are Libra Suns, so that could be the reason for my Taurus Sun in 7th!

I get on ok with Libra individuals, but I don't have many Libra Sun friends. More Libra ASC.

Forgive me, but this is where I am not completely sold.

The Asc works with the Sun and not exclusively.

For instance,a Sun in Leo in the 7th house is still a Leo.

The Asc in Aquarius (probably) makes the person a little more detached and impersonal i.e concerned with the "whole" to start off.

And this would suggest that wherever there is ego/self-centredness(self),there is likely to be some struggle and strife.

Two areas of life where ego may rule most ardently, are the 3rd house(Aries) and the 7th(Leo).

And these two areas of life may present some challenges to the native i.e make it difficult to reconcile with the detached view wanted by the Asc in Aquarius

Because Asc in Aquarius always wants to know; "How do I keep myself objective?"

And Sun wants to dominate/personalize whatever area of life it finds itself in.

So when in the 7th, the area that is all about sharing and partnerships. The Sun is very uncomfortable and conflicted here.

This internal strife and constant "back/forth" between "my needs vs. theirs" is what people see and interpret as being similar to "Libra".

But this is the individual fluctuating between being "objective"(Aquarius Asc) and yet being ego-invested(Sun 7th)

This is not an individual aiming to find balance(Libra) as a means of self -expression.

But an individual confused and frustrated about what to do; feeling like they can either be one or the other. And there is no middle ground etc.

Some end up projecting the Sun to their partner; attracting a very domineering mate. Or they themselves becomes domineering and totalitarian in relationships-fearing the alternative

Again, this is not reminiscent of the Libra energy to conceptualize and streamline everything to a balanced and cohesive order at all.

If the Asc is in another sign, Capricorn or Cancer, the theme is the same; there is a fluctuation between "me vs them" etc.

It looks the same on the outside. But its not really

I'm 6th house sun and something about how you put it: you're doing all wrong does describe something I feel about, not so much virgos, as virgo energy. But maybe not in the way you meant.

An e.g would be knowing intellectual virgos who get so far into theories, are academics (that part of me wishes I'd pursued) & I think that can be a mistake, just inherently that pursuit loses meaning when it's not hashed out in real life. I don't really think that's what happens either but part of me is very wary of doing that all the same and the bit about doing virgo better, would be trying to retain some outer sense of meaning, not just abstracts. Which - I think - sounds a bit similar to doing scorpio from an asc / 8th house perspective. I'm scorpio asc and because it does feel more an outer shell, I feel I can see scorpio behaviour also as a shell. Maybe that's synastry of potentially asc on sun.

^ ive not explained this too well as otoh I love theories and respect/admire above all the most abstract of thinking. So, it is just down to something about an overview that I have those feelings and theories being better when go back and forth with practice. Reflecting about it more, it's because I'm very easily seduced by and susceptible to that kind of path, that I'm acquainted with it. If feels like I got to wander around in an unfinished building (the house) and know where the pipes are before it was decorated. Sorry, gone off one .. Probably virgoan tangent

Btw I don't really know virgo energy that well or if it's intellectual but my limited understanding, that resonated with how I do feel about it.

@Aries 23 Degrees

That's all interesting and complicated

But I have a 6H sun, and I'm a health nut, like a stereotypical Virgo.

How does a Capricorn sun/Leo ASC combine to create a person whose diet and health habits are Virgoan?

The Capricorn energy is very much serious and practical about consistency, efficiency and application.

In many ways,Cap is similar to Virgo. In that there is an inherent need in both for constant,never-ending self improvement.

But Cap sees themselves at the top of the hill-in charge of many. That is their aim

Virgo may not have that as their aim because to them ,doing a job well done is good enough for their laborious efforts.

Virgo wants to feel good about what they have done and to come away knowing that they have made life easier/better for someone other than themselves.

Capricorn is not that altruistic and is more focused in bettering life for themselves. And if other people's lives improve in the process, then so be it. But this is not the "reward" at the end of the journey.

Now the Sun being in 6th already suggests that the Sun is unhappy/challenged here.

Many people who have Sun in 6th, often also have some form of health/diet issues.

The Sun is vitality and life-force and when in the house of challenges, obstacles and enemies(6th),this can suggest a native who feels that their body is often "at war" with itself.

So health and related issues(one of the 6th house theme manifestations) become the focal point for ALL Sun in 6th house people.

Usually their bodies/health is more frail, prone to disease and all sorts of ailments when diet/exercise is not adhered to.

This is particularly the case with those that have an afflicted Sun position,Sun in Cap/Aquarius(Saturn-ruled) or Sun in Pisces(Neptune-ruled).

These people must take care of their bodies and make sure to eat well.

But because of the inherent personality of the energy the Sun finds itself in,others are better at applying this "healthy living" stuff more than others.

So Sun in Leo may get away with eating bad foods for a while(even though their Sun is in the 6th house) because the Sun is naturally at home in Leo and is thus very strong. So health issues may not plague them as much.

But if that Sun is afflicted, this may not be the case and they may find themselves at the doctors office quite often.

This may also be the case with afflicted Sun in Aries/Sagittarius -whom are not the type to be all that vigilant to the details of calorie intakes and food types etc.

But for the naturally tenacious Cancer,Scorpio,Cap ,Virgo Sun in 6th,the focus on "healthy living" and a balanced diet, will not be a philosophy to be visited upon now and then. But a way of life.

These signs are more concerned about longevity and are usually painfully aware of the fragile nature of life; perhaps due to childhood illnesses or pervasive diseases etc.

So they are more likely to be vigilant and concerned about living a healthy lifestyle.

This is the quality that makes you(as a Cap Sun)seem more "Virgo".

But it is not the "Virgo" essentially, but the serious nature of Cap that wants you to preserve and maintain your life until old age(Saturn rules old age).

So this attention to detail and making sure that you eat right, is Saturn in practice and making you respect your physical body and being aware of its wear and tear etc.

Here I am also, Sun in Scorpio 8th house and LOL never had a Scorpio friend. Usually I feel that one drive each other away. My 8th house starts in the last degree of libra though and I met loads of libras, but I do better with cancer sun people, the best of the best friends to me.

Hmmmm...

Scorpio Moon is the tough one for me. More than once it's been like "Use your words. It may feel like I can read your mind but I really can't. I can't help if you don't talk."

Well what helps me is that my moon in libra at 27 degrees conjuncts my scorpio pluto at 2 degrees. It's wide and out of sign but i feel the energy of that conjunction. Probably another reason i get along with Scorpio moons so well.

According to astro.com, my dominant sign is Scorpio followed by Aries. And pluto is my 2nd strongest planet. Despite only having saturn and pluto in Scorpio, i do feel Scorpionic. I do have some very intense feelings for a "airy" gemini.

I have a crappy 4th house sun. Makes me VERY reserved at first. But hey at least I'm a pisces! !

And I seem to have a weird attraction for cancers. Which makes sense because pisces and cancers are compatible and also cancer rules 4th house.

Aside from being reserved, what's it like to have a 4th House Pisces Sun? Does it make you more emotional than what is said of the Pisces Sun character? Is your life-focus family, creation, home, and ancestry? Do you have any other Water energy/placements in your natal chart?
