Definitely, a huge change. I was ahead of my class until 3rd grade (age 8), when I started having vision problems and faltering in math. It really freaked me out to have any struggle.So I was impressed to see, that was the year my pr Aquarius Mercury turned Rx. I think it may have helped me socially because I had been so outspoken before the Rx. Hmmm. Pr Mercury moved into Capricorn 7 years later and has been there ever since. I am just now on the brink of having it return to its native Aquarius (pr Mercury late 29 Cap) and my thinking is opening up, noticeably. My comprehension isn't as fast as it was when I was little, but maybe once the pr Mercury catches up to its natal position, I'll smarten up? That'd be nice. Good luck with it.  IP: Logged |

Mine has been retro since around '96. Ugh.
I did get through college and did well with it rx.
I'm really excited for it to go direct around April '18. Right now it's the same degree as my natal, just rx.
Mine is also 12th natal, so I can be introverted anyway. IP: Logged |

I don't know how long mine has been retrograde, but it's at 23*Gemini in the 8th house, in my progressed chart. Progressed Sun is one degree away from exactly opposing Neptune, and my progressed Moon is exactly square it, and also squaring natal Neptune. Venus is taking forever in Cancer. It's at 25*Cancer, just past a square to my ceres, chiron, and Sun. Pr. Mars is now past the opposition to Pluto, and the conjunction to Jupiter (just). My progressed chart is all cardinal and mutable. IP: Logged |
