Astrologers always say exes come back during Venus retro, but it had never happened to me. During Mercury retro, sure. But this guy I hadn't heard from in 3 years. And he didn't call or email, he showed up at my door!

Okay, so two things made it weird.

1 - I was wearing a dress I wear during PMS that I refer to as my "fat dress" and it's not flattering. I need to dress nicer every day for these unexpected events because I didn't feel my best.

2 - I felt bad telling him I was married. Sad for him because I could see he had worked up a lot of nerve to come over here and kind of sad for us because I wanted him 5 years ago. The timing just didn't align.

We were best friends while we were both going through a very hard time in life (it was my Saturn return and divorce, not sure what it was for him).

While we never dated or called each other GF/BF, we did have romantic relations a time or two and I was in love with him (he just didn't love me or if he did, he never said the words). Nonetheless, we used to either hang out or talk on the phone for hours on end until we got into a political argument of some kind (so dumb) and then we just quit speaking to each other.

Anyway, I am rambling.

I have Leo Asc. & he is a Leo Sun, so I thought Jupiter and Venus in Leo probably had significance for us because I've been on cloud 9 since.

Unfortunately, it was a work day for both of us (lunch time) so he had to get back to work and I had to as well, so we only talked outside for about 15 minutes. It was a really sweet day and I wish we had more time.

Did anything happen to anyone else here specifically on August 4th?
