The purpose of this experiment is to see which placements I openly express and which ones I do not. It is possible I express all 5 personal planets openly, but if I do not then after seeing everyone's responses I will know which ones to study.

The experiment involves me stating reality, not a description of the placement. If I just described the placement, I wouldn't have any reason to start this thread. I understand the meaning of the placements themselves, just not the expression and reality of my chart. Through this experiment, I intend to get a better understanding of what I'm like to other people and learn more about myself.

So just focus on what sounds right more than what is right, because I guarantee I am not just describing placements but myself as well.

Secondly, I deeply apologize for how long these descriptions are. I just wanted to have enough details for people to work from. I hate giving vague answers more than anything.

Anyway, here is my description of how I express the planets:

Sun (General identity; basic personality):
As a whole, I am stubborn, lazy, and deceptively quiet (as in, I can be talkative). I am also detached from the physical; however, I can responsibly indulge in physical pleasure and material items. I love computers, writing, and almost anything that's considered different. I'm good at managing money and spending wisely. I get bored easily and work at my own pace. My most negative traits are jealousy and possessiveness. Sometimes I am creative. I am extremely logical and at times cynical.

Moon (Emotions; needs):
Emotionally, I need mental simulation or I get bored. I am not emotionally expressive. It takes a lot for me to show someone my emotions, but when I do I can be surprisingly sensitive, caring, and kind. Not many people know how I'm feeling and I usually deal with things on my own.

I have severe trust issues. Expressing my emotions takes time as opening up is not easy for me. Although it doesn't seem like it, I need emotional connection and depth in my life. I do not like superficial things. My connections have to be real.

Do not betray my trust or it takes a long time to get it back. I do not forgive people easily when they cross the line and I can put up with a lot from other people. I have heard that I'm hard on myself both emotionally and mentally.

Mercury(Communication; learning style):
When I communicate with other people, I am typically straightforward and blunt. I try to be considerate of other peoples' emotions, so I do attempt to communicate without causing anyone harm. However, my honesty can be painful to hear.

I consider myself open to new ideas as long as they do not interfere with my freedom to choose. I enjoy learning things, but my memory is awful and I tend to forget stuff if I don't write it down. My learning must be fun and mentally stimulating or I get bored; this is why I do not do well just learning in the classroom. I learn by doing first and observing second.

Venus (Tastes; values; romance):
I value beauty and visual appeal. Before I am able to love someone, I must first be attracted to them physically. However, I also value intellect and shared interests. I do not pursue someone that has just looks. Since I require mental stimulation, someone must be able to appeal to that too.

In romance, I expect loyalty, passion, and intensity but with that intensity I need some degree of stability. So, no arguments 24/7. I like someone who is responsible and dedicated. They should be good with money. Overall, I value complexity and getting to know someone gradually.

Mars (Drive; passions; expression of anger):
It takes a while to get me going but once I am going you can't stop me. When I want something, I tend to go after it almost obsessively and I tend to get it too. My anger is often times self-destructive and directed inward. I do not often express it openly. When other people are exposed to my anger, it is verbal and explosive. My passion is strong and well-expressed.

Venus - Capricorn or Virgo

Mars - Taurus

And.. I know you didn't ask about this, but in Chinese Astrology - I would guess you to be a Rooster.

Sun: Aquarius. The jealousy and possessiveness do not fit Aqua but can be explained by the moon sign.

Moon: Scorpio. The need for mental stimulation may be due to Aquarius sun.

Mercury: Since I picked aquarius sun, mercury can either be capp, Aquarius, or Pisces. I choose Aquarius.

Venus: never too far from the sun, could be either Capp, Aqua, or Pisces. has to be Capp.

Mars: taurus or scorpio

Moon - My gut instinct says Sag, but that thing where once betrayed you're done, sounds a little Pisces. ???

Mercury - Virgo / Edit: "My learning must be fun and mentally stimulating or I get bored" sounds like an Aries, actually.

Venus - Aquarius? Could be Taurus as well (the slowness in relationships)

Mars - Aries, classic Aries Mars.

Sun in Taurus
Moon in Gemini
Mercury in Aries
Venus in Taurus
Mars in Aries
Ascendant in Scorpio

The Scorpio ascendant colored every one of the personal planets. I think that's what threw me off.

I can see I guessed all your placements youhoo with the exception of the Moon, I saw it as Virgo instead of Gemini. But I sensed it to be in the 8th...is your Moon by any chance in the 8th house? Thank you
