I have this aspect with someone. My Mercury in Leo conjuncts his Mars in Leo and his Mercury in Capricorn conjuncts my Mars in Capricorn. How is this aspect viewed? Thankies.

Hey, wrong forum btw. This should be interpersonal astrology.

Anyways, Mercury conj Mars in synastry means that you guys may at times pick on each others intellect. This combination doesn't cause arguments and conflicts as much as the square would do, but it does make communication interactions with you both very lively. I often enjoy communication with people who have their Mars conjunct my Mercury. My bestfriend's Mars touches mines at the exact degree.

Uhm... we are both very stubborn and stuck in our own ways. I do feel like he is at least trying to read my mind. He also told me he dislikes communicating with me virtually. He prefers face to face interaction. Maybe it's an age thing.

You will probably have lively conversation, be it heated or passionately.

In the beginning we had a lot of arguments. I was very cold and distant towards him. Now he is doing the same with me. He is making me pay with the same coin.

Already? Where will you be in one year time? Just askin'
But I guess it's better to know now than after investing in each other for five years? No?

I hurt him. We had arguments because I thought I was just fun for him. I thought he was a player. People around us tried and still try to turn us against each other.

I've always thought that Mercury conj. Mars is synastry is a great aspect to have. It should bring constant exchange of ideas and, if anything, it should *open* the communication towards finding a solution to your problems.

The issues that you indicate seem to be associated more with tensed aspects of Sun/Moon/Venus. If you feel his reaction to be karmic, then maybe Saturn is the culprit.

I might be wrong but I don't find communication to be explained with Mercury alone. I have Mara in cap too and have pretty good time with cap mercuries because the way they plan is the way I approach situation.

70% of our communication is body language. You might want to look into moon aspects. Composite chart with Mercury aspects will indicate you communication styles overall and if there's misunderstandings

I have Mars conjunct Mercury double-whammy with someone. He is constantly trying to argue with me and tends to disagree with me just for the sake of disagreement... grrr...
