So hi!
Does anyone know more about aspects to the ascendant how that could alterate your look?
For example could a cap rising with merc dominant plant + squaring ascendant give off a gemini look?IP: Logged |

Yes. Mercury aspecting the Ascendant would give a youthful appearance.IP: Logged |

Also, I'm fairly certain that if other signs are heavily represented in a chart, it will also influence the way you look, so will the moon and the sun...

The truth is, the total planetary aspects to Asc picture has to be taken into account, which includes parallels and contra-parallels of declination. In the signs of far north/south declination (Gem/Cancer = north, Sag/Cap = south), planets that are not conjunct or opposite the Asc can still be in very tight parallel to it, even tighter aspects than another planet in longitude. I have found that the planet that is in the clearest tightest aspect will be the one that most characterizes the physical qualities and alterations from the typical pattern for the rising sign/dominant sign. So a person can in theory have Cap rising with Mercury square Asc, but have their appearance shaped more by a planet in tighter parallel or contra-parallel to Asc, like Uranus, Neptune, etc. ------------------
