I believe people invest in them a little too much. I think they are great for understanding WHERE a particular energy is coming from (like when I get that warm fuzzy feeling and then I realize its because she has Mars in Cancer squaring my Moon ;-D)But some people are so quick to jump to a synastry/composite chart to DETERMINE if they should interact with someone or not. Some may think this is a good idea, but i don't like the idea of it. I feel like we begin to judge people by their charts without realizing there is much more to that person than we think. For example, some people are constantly searching for their twin flame or soulmate (a waste of time if you ask me) and are looking for that one "aspect" to see if they are or not. Then they start romanticizing everything only to be disappointed later. Or they assume that since their synastry with someone doesn't appear "harmonious" then that person will bring something foreboding in their lives only to realize that that person was actually a blessing in disguise. I see these things as tools, not a determiner of someones character. Because just because two people have the same exact natal chart doesn't mean that they possess the same soul. One may have more mastery over their natal aspects and the other one may not...

I agree. I think synastry/composite charts can be used as mere guidance tools but they should not be taken for face value. I've had instances where people told me I had a "beautiful" synastry with a man I had no interest in and a "terrible" synastry with someone I spent hours and hours talking about any possible subject. I think looking for a "soulmate" is not such a "delusional" idea because we have plenty of them, however looking for a "twin flame" is the road to disappointment and pain. No one knows if twin flames truly exist of if it's only a metaphysical concept. I believe people should focus more on interacting with people based on how they feel about them, not based on their charts or signs. I've seen a lot of people on here throw stones at me because I said Virgos or Scorpios are like this or that, but at the end of the day, we're unique individuals. We should look beyond metaphysical concepts. Having a certain chart or sign does not define who you are or your relationship. Just see people as "people" not as possible connections, that's how you can truly meet genuine friends/lovers ... Throwing all your expectations into the astrological basket is a waste of time and can make you miserable if you can't get what you're desperately seeking. That's just my personal opinion. Absolutely. I think people become too obsessed with them because one planet is making "this" aspect or they assume that they won't be happy unless this planet makes "that" aspect.As for Twin Flames, I believe they exist, they just aren't worth LOOKING for, seriously. There are no guarantees, especially if you're one of those "fairy-tale" happily ever after kind of people. What makes you think that your Twin is here just for pleasure and romance? They may just need you to help them get their spiritual work done and vice-versa. Romance may not even be the center of the relationship. I think you can never have a relationship the chart does not allow unless you can really spring to the spiritual level. Then, however, there will still be lacks in simpatico, understanding, attraction etc I think the charts show us what will happen and they play out!!! I say that 10000000%. That is my humble opinion  ------------------
