Topic: Should Lilith be considered as important?

On Astrotheme.com Lilith is automatically seen on Natal charts as if it were a planet. But on Astrodienst.com you have to select it before it is seen.Should Lilith be something that is automatically seen like Chiron and the Nodes? Or is it a minor influence? I think my Lilith conjunct my MC/IC axis by an EXACT degree (closer than any other conjunction to any angle in my chart ) may explain why I am so Sagittarian/Geminiac The next would be my NN conjunct my ASC. But its by 1 degree. IP: Logged |

I feel as though is it should be considered as an important placement. I can't offer a specific reason as to why, because it is just an intuitive feeling. All in all I relate very much to the descriptions of the sign and house placements of my Lilith. IP: Logged |

They say when certain planets are close to an angle the energy of that planet, sign, and house is drawn out more.I have 0 degree Lilith in Sag, and a 0 degree Sag/Gem MC/IC axis. So does that mean these energies are bolstered extremely? Im asking because I literally relate to nothing else in my chart more than this axis. Members on here are pretty used to me talking about this axis. My 8 degree NN is conjunct my 10 degree ASC. And My Sun is 6 degrees away from my DSC so these are the lesser angle conjunctions.. But the thing is, I'm still not sure if Lilith should be mentioned compared to everything else. But i guess many of us underestimate anything that isn't regarded as a "planet" IP: Logged |

It is important, but not as important as the other planets.
It helps finishing a chart, giving a bit more depth, but shouldn't be addressed before other, more major aspects.
This is my intuitive understanding, and it may be slightly wrong in the way that, if lilith is very prominent in the chart, it may be right to focus on it from the start.
In my chart it's a lesser thing to be concerned with, not as major as any other aspects I still have to decipher and properly understand, so it's taking a bit of a behind-the-curtain role.

Well with that proximity to the angle I'd say the Sagittarius Lilith energy is an integral part of your persona. Maybe "the public" sees you as a controversial sex symbol, or you're a person with controversial/unique views towards sex. IP: Logged |

Lilith conj the ASC or MC is super sexy. I ask people to send me their pics when they have this and they are sexy in an effortless way lol

Lol I will. So is Lilith something one should be quick to consider and is it just as potent to ones life as the planets? Like, if someone is said to be "Saturn" ruled, could that also apply to Lilith and Chiron? IP: Logged |

Well, I can't say Lilith is AS important as Saturn. However, if there is a very close conjunction, they are strong for a person. Lilith is raw sexuality. So, for the Lilith person, that theme would be important and play out in various ways.------------------

I haven't researched Lilith's mythology, but from what I have read it seems like Lilith's domain is raw creative energy, but the most immediate expression of that energy is sexual. So a few questions arise: are we supposed to tame and utilize Lilith's creative energy, give it total freedom, or strike a balance between the two? IP: Logged |
