What is one (you can list more if you'd like) aspect in your natal chart that you consider your most difficult one to deal with and what have you done to own it and work with it in your life?

Mars Square Saturn, its like one moment I'm going to charge head on lets do this! but then there's like a block something happens some feeling over takes me, dislike this aspect. I tend to stick to something even after I know its not going to fly/work/succeed its like not knowing when to give up or just let it go, so I'm working on letting things go. No I haven't owned it yet.

Venus Square Saturn

This is really hard for me to admit. No matter how attractive others perceive me, I will always see something wrong. There has never been a time in my life when I was completely 100% comfortable in the skin I'm in. It's always like this: "After braces straighten my teeth out" or "Once I lose the last 5 pounds". When I see people radiate unwavering confidence (no matter what they look like) I absolutely love that!

Also when I was going through my dating years, I NEVER knew when a guy liked me. They'd tell me, and I'd be shocked. Every single time. To this day, I still have old friends tell me: "Oh I had such a big crush on you" and I think to myself I really wish I had known!

So to manage this square, I've been trying to work on inner beauty, my theory being that it will manifest outward, but so far it's only helped slightly.

If anyone has ever gotten past an aspect like this, I'd love to know how they did it.

Thank you for your response! I didn't know much about it in a natal chart, just in the synastry chart. Have there been any projects or jobs that you have stuck with and felt rewarded for it because you didn't give up?

Thank you so much for sharing that! It seems that with aspects people find difficulty dealing with mostly involve Saturn and/or Chiron. I often wonder if those natal aspects that involve Saturn, if you've owned them and learn the lessons Saturn is trying to teach you, if there is a huge reward at the "end". Saturn is known for his tough lessons but amazing rewards.

You don't own them you transcend them but gain wisdom from their lesson.

Adding to the Saturn squares here...

Mine is - Jupiter (Pisces) square Saturn (Sagittarius)!

It's tough because you spiral from being all play, no work - to being all work, no play.
I've always tried to be more balanced and more organised and stick to my plans.
I'd say I'm almost on top of this square.. now that my Saturn return is coming up, but I still have some things to deal with.

libra Moon square gemini Sun
Gosh this one is a pain
I mean, I know I have a very very strong intuition.
And it's awesome, really, I love it. But my sun decide to poke it's shiny little head and disagree with everything: "yeah but... are you really sure? I mean, really really sure? This feeling you have, is it you wishing, or is it really your intuition working? Why do you want to go there, I think you should go over there, that's logical." then my moon is like : " Yes, but I feel like this way is better... I mean I don't just want it, yes I do but... "

"USH, ush, just go under this pillow right now and die quietly, let's do this the reasonable, logical way, alright? THINK for once, you can't just feel things, you got to THINK. Why would this happen anyway? It's not logical, it can't happen."
And usually my sun is wrong and my moon is right and I mess up something.

I use the word "own" to mean acknowledging them and accepting them as a part of oneself first, in order to move beyond them.

Thank you for sharing that with us. Do you mind if I ask, when or what is it that makes you realize you have too much of one thing? Do you like pass out at the 16th birthday party youve attended in one week or do you fall asleep with piles of papers on your bed?

Thank you, I was just reading up on this aspect in the natal chart. I was just noticing the signs and since they were both air signs, I thought they would get along a lot better.

LOL ^ That's a funny question

It's more like.. it's difficult to integrate both things (fun things & career/work related matters) into your life, and be happy at the end of the day.

In the party example... A Jupiter/Saturn trine person would get some work done before the party... then attend the party... then get some more work done afterwards... and they would happily show up Monday at work (having partied with their friends - and having also met their deadlines):

This is Jupiter/Saturn trine, Monday morning:

A Jupiter/Saturn square person would put the work off again and again - then go party... then realise they underestimated the amount of work they had to get done in the first place - then "cram" like crazy and work through the night to finish things last minute.
When they show up Monday at work, everything will be finished. It might even be better quality work than the Jupiter/Saturn trine - simply because the square makes you *focus* so intensely.
But this "style" of doing things is highly stressful... and unhealthy.

That Amy Poeler gif is hilarious!

Thank you so much for sharing that and also for explaining how that square plays out for you. I have the conjunction in my chart and to be honest, I've never paid attention to it before. I will have to look into that now.

I would say the moon square Pluto in my chart because I feel like sometimes it can make me come across really intense or aloof. I think I can get so intense that I just become aloof to things..

i would call them "challenging" as opposed to "tough and terrible" There is a lesson in each and every aspect/placement. this is what colours our lives and makes them rich and rewarding each time we are able to gain something from their lessons.

mine is moon/mars/saturn conjunction and pluto square jupiter.

but im learning to love them.

Gosh, I feel like my chart is full of toughies!

Moon square Pluto
Venus conjunct Saturn
Mercury Conjunct Uranus
Venus square Neptune

I would say the Venus square Neptune and conjunct Saturn.

I am working on transcending them, but don't really know how

Well they are trined by sign, but my moon is on the cusp of libra (0'33) from virgo, so it's a stretched square.
What makes it so difficult is that lots of flowing placement I have with my moon are in hard aspect with my sun.
Moon sextile pluto and trine neptune while my sun is quincunx both for example.
The relief I could feel for having those two trine by sign is lowered because of this easy/harsh aspects mix between the two

I can agree. I think I used "tough and terrible" mainly for aliteration effect.

Also, I don't know much about pluto square jupiter. I'm going to look that up.

I have a friend who has her Chiron in the 10th house and she struggles with it as well.

How about you start a thread on the positive aspects in charts that we can be most thankful for having?

Thank you so much for that. I didn't know that squares could work in compatible signs. (I'm still learning). I thought that the aspect would be an easy one, but that it would be too wide to make a difference.
