I think there is a tendency for women to compete, pretty much across the board. Some women try to be the best pre-school mom, or the best career-minded woman, or the best cake decorator or the best pinterest project maker, or the hottest chick around --- Aries women are just really upfront about it. Some people like it - some hate it. At least with an Aries woman, you won't ever have to wonder if she's your frenemy. She will pretty much be like, "Let's go, babe!" I don't know how old you are, but Aries women tend to calm down a bit as they age. Not much, and probably not as much as some other signs - but with age, the ones who are conscious about evolving learn to channel their "inner fight impulse" into battles that are worthy of the noble ram. Instead of petty contests with peers, they will set their sites on bigger goals, like championing a cause. Of course, should someone care to toss down a gauntlet, even the oldest, wisest Arian native will gladly give you a run for your money. IP: Logged |

@Hannarama - what you said rings so true! I don't bother with people I don't like. If I am joking around, battling wits or outright competing with someone, it is because a) I like them b) I respect them or c) they just elfin' p'd me off!I do find that Cancer natives and (to my surprise) Leos seem to be the ones I who take my joking the most seriously. I kind of understand the Cancer -but it's hard to believe that another Fire sign would get so sideways over a casual joking remark - especially when it's so blatantly obvious that it's sarcastic or ridiculous. #smh IP: Logged |

^^^ Well said.I'm an Aries moon and I concur. I actually don't like having to compete with people, I would rather not. However, if I'm pushed... I'll definitely get in the ring and I'll give it a good go. If I don't win, it will be difficult to accept; but I'll come back and obtain something better than what I lost. Believe that!

150% These days I feel like, if you're not my family, my money and/or my career, you're not worth competing with in any shape or form. I find that my competiveness usually comes out when it comes to debates and exchanges of ideas. However, these days, I'm learning to be more comfortable with what I believe and my desires; so I'm just like meh! when I feel challenged these days. If people don't agree with me, that's on them. As long as I know and believe what I am saying to be true, I'll stand alone. That doesn't bother me anymore, there's nothing to compete over. Very few things are worth my passion. My passion is my gift and as previously commented on, wiser Aries are able to better channel their passion.

Aries is competitive in general. I'm an Aries and I'm not really competitive...in my opinion if I have to compete for a guys attention he is not worth my time, and I am always happy for other people's success...I mean if I like them anyway lol. But I have a lot more docile energies in my chart too. Maybe you could look at medusa in your chart? I've heard that is an asteroid that is supposed to represent jealousy among women. Otherwise I would look at your synastry with those individuals. I think often with Mars/Pluto aspects there is jealousy if the two involved aren't sexually attracted to one another. Does your Mars aspect Pluto for people in your generation? when my Mars aspects Pluto with another woman they tend to be jealous of me also, and controlling. IP: Logged |

Some Aries females have wanted to "compete" with me. They end up getting a kick out of me. I'm not much on competition. In fact, either they want to be intimate with me or protect me. 2H Libran Sun/Uranus, 0 degree 4H Sagittarius Venus attached to Scorpio IC. IP: Logged | |
