When you mentioned starting all over... Has that happened to you as of yet?
Lol I feel the same. I seek out little ways to sooth my restlessness. Like changing jobs/careers, having new hobbies, or finding different routes from home to work..etc.. I've started over 2 times. It felt exhilarating. Although it got harder because as time went by I had more things to consider, more people to care about. But it was part of the reason why it felt so good.

I'm not that fond of using audio cassettes but for Finnish and Swedish I was able to find a language course at the local library which came with a little book and it was the ONLY free source I was able to find. Finnish confounded me but Swedish was easy. Had I continued to learn Swedish I'd have found Swedes to interact with online (though getting all the letters right can be a pain as our keyboards aren't geared for that, and I didn't have my own computer back then, I had to share with a partner who needed it for her classes and also used the library computer) and probably use some service like Rosetta Stone. Even then I figured Swedish wouldn't "click" for me until I spent some time immersed in it within Sweden. (I don't recall the specifics now of what was required but I only needed a low level proficiency in Swedish to apply for what I wanted in Uppsala, something along the lines of a limited working proficiency, basically enough to fill out forms and answer basic questions, and I was sure I could do that on my own in America.)
