My child has this and I can tell there are times she feels so frustrated. She will tell me that she is grumpy then gets whiney and there is no getting through to her at that point. Of course, then I get frustrated.

To those that have this, what has helped to release any frustration? She will be 8.

Exercising, or anything that help alleviate frustration will help.
Encourage her to talk, and maybe give her a diary where she can do anything that help her (drawing, writing, tearing pages)
That's the most I can suggest.
I was all about drawing, even if it was more like mindlessly scribbling down until going through paper. It helped.
However, my opposition is more about control issues and restlessness. I'm slowly learning that controlling everything does not make a better life.
Fate has me on the radar however, it keeps throwing me into situation I have hardly any control of and it forces me to accept this part of myself and come around with it. `

With age I do have confidence it will become better, she will be able to identify what troubles her and what brings frustration. Until this time arrive, encourage her to express herself, be it with you, with a friend, or any way she likes.
The most toxic thing she can do is keeping it up bottled. This just create a nuclear effect with Mars/Pluto opposition, and you do not want that exploding into your face.
It turns into bloody murder.
I'm sorry, that's the most I can do, Mars/Pluto seems to bring me a very different energy, more restless than frustrated I'd say :/

I don't have this aspect, but in principle it gains release only through those activities in which Martial energies are projected in a vigorous, intense fashion. Sports and physical outlets are better than a person falling completely into patterns of domineering relations, or maybe worse, failing to give room to the Martial/Plutonic energies, playing 'nice' and conversely attracting intimates who are abusive.

I recommend Martial Arts. Start early.

More than anything, she gets frustrated easy, not really mad.

She is in gymnastics now and loves it. She does it all day long.
