Pluto is right at the tip of my 7th house right now and it will be transiting my 8th house in the next year or so.

I was wondering how this would play out. If anyone has had this transit before, can you guys tell me about your experiences?

Also, once it does enter my 8th house, it will conjunct both my Neptune and Uranus.

I was told that Pluto transits show its typical transformative effects only when its right on the tipping point between the houses

So I assume, rather than 8th house matters popping up into your picture out of nowhere, I think what's gonna happen is that you are going to meet a new partner who completely transforms you for the better..

You have a Virgo ASC.. correct?
If so, I am 100% confident that the bright year is right ahead of you, when looking at the house positions only
As Saturn now (or tomorrow-ish) starts to chill out a bit from battling Jupiter, Jupiter in Virgo is gonna start to really show its strength
(This is based on the fact that retrograde Saturn effects loses its after-effects, only 21 days/3 weeks-ish after it goes direct)

Get ready, don't miss out on your opportunities~

P.S - you are also gonna have to exercise A LOT MORE muahahahh

Pluto is right in the eighth house now. If you have any personal planets in the eighth or if Pluto will be aspecting any personal planets while in that house........then you might go through a transformative period......the things that don't work in your life falling to the wayside and maybe some hidden, buried parts of yourself become unearthed and you get to see the world in a different light.......

@Venusincap

Actually, I'm a Gemini rising.

I did meet a person two years ago while Pluto was in retrograde. Yeah, he put me through a transformational period last year, but I'm not sure if he's the last I'll meet. I checked my chart again and it won't be until 2018 when Pluto moves in completely into my 8th house.

@Sagical

Not sure what to think about that lol. It seems like the planets don't wanna give me a break from all these 8th house things.

ohh gemini rising
So that should mean your true inner core or self/4th house is to soon receive its blessings, once again when looking at the houses again only

Saturn in Sagittarius is debilitated too so Jupiter should feel stronger after mid September I think.

And most importantly, 8th house stuff isn't always bad In your case, its Capricorn which is pretty much Saturn itself and it strongly indicates that typical earthy resilience and vitality regarding 8th house stuff so definitely nowhere near what fear mongerers speak of regarding the 8th house
more like... something along the line of...
contributing to protect others' reputations or social status in secret manners? Something like public relations manager?
Just throwing a guess here

Pluto transit 8th House:
A transit of Pluto to the 8th House is likely to be a time of intense, obsessive and even violent emotional responses. If H8 is tenanted, then this process of bringing to light hitherto unacknowledged emotional or sexual tendencies may use the agency of specific people and situations. Intense love affairs are common at this time and there is frequently a great attraction for people engaged in criminal or taboo activities. Alternatively, criminal or taboo activities may become an object of fascination.

It is often said of Pluto, that under its influence, a person can be made an offender or a victim. This is never more true than when Pluto is working through the 8th House. The obsessions and intense desires, which it unleashes, may be destructive to another or to self.

Either way they will merit a person’s attention and Conscious effort if they are to be transformed.

After transiting the 8th House Pluto moves on into H9 and a person may well have to adjust his belief system during this period in order to accommodate what he has come to understand about the intensity of the emotions and his greater awareness of the human shadow.

I have natal Pluto in the 8th House; I can confirm that this description is fairly accurate. A semi-constant state of reflection/introspection is the key to get through this transit with ease. Intense moments of passion may cause trouble, but it is a necessary evil, one that will help you learn more about your reservoirs of power and the depths of your psyche.

In all honesty, I don't see this transit being as bad as Saturn through the 8th. I've been experiencing this transit for the past couple years and it has been an eye-opening, transformative time, yes, but also consistently brutal if I stray a bit off the path Saturn wants me to follow. Saturn will conjunct my natal Pluto when it enters Sagittarius, so I'm hoping I won't spontaneously combust/explode 🔥 🔥

i have natal sun (capricorn) and moon (capricorn) in the 8th house and plutos been hanging out in there for a couple years now

and i'm loving it. so far yes there has been violent emotional releases and all of that and everything that's been pent up is has been and still is being release but once it's out... oh i'm content.

i've changes immensely in the last few years and it's making me love myself more and more. i'm more mellow and content because all the anger etc in out of me or has been brought out of me.

embrace it! it's good for your soul .. or at least it was brilliant for mine

I have this natally.
You will probably going to get interested in taboo subjects such as death through other people, occult studies which include psychic, healing, astrology, magick etc. Obsessive people like stalkers and abusers may come into your life and it may not be your choice but thrust into it. Money wise, it's crap.

I wouldn't normally worry about Pluto because I don't always feel it's transits. My 7th house transit wasn't even that bad. But it makes sense because my 7th house is empty.

My 8th house, however, houses two sorta "malefic" planets, if you will--Neptune and Uranus. They are both part of aspect patterns, which means they will be activated once Pluto touches them.

Neptune is on the apex of a t-square with Saturn and Mars, while Uranus is the apex of a double yod with Moon and Mercury-Venus conjunction.

What's worse is they're both situated at the very first degrees of the 8th house.

Pluto entered my 8th house February 2019 left then re-entered December 2019

As of today, it’s officially 1° into the house for the long haul. First conjunction to my moon will be March 2023; this same month, Saturn will sit on my Sun.
