Just checking to see if my signature is still messed up.

15* aspects can be especially important and helpful in progressions when they are exact or very close to it (within a few minutes arc). I will be doing some very pinpointed research on this, and will be reviewing Ricki Reeve's book The Quindecile about the 165*.

Very cool. I've noticed the significance of 15 degree aspects both in synastry and with transiting planets. Definitely need to look more into it.

Beside the 165° quindecile, I was intrigued some years ago to find a rather frequent occurrence of the 105° and 75° aspects.

Yes, Ceridwen, these probably show up more than most astrologers realize. I do know that SolarFire can be set to recognize all of them and allow you to set the orbs.

How significant should these 15° aspects be taken into consideration?

15° puts my Pluto into conjunction with my North Node (exact 1° Orb)... Sounds scary :O

Astrological factors sound scary only if you are waiting with fear in your consciousness. They are subconscious urgings and points for learning.

I'm not sure of what you are asking. Are you saying there is a 15-degree aspect between your Pluto and N.Node?

If so, that's not a particularly personal aspect. However, I'd expect it to urge you towards a purpose in life, taking control of your destiny.

As to how significant 15-degree aspects are, they are minor aspects, but can sometimes play a significant role in progressions, helping open windows of opportunity. This usually occurs simultaneous with other, often major progressed aspects.

I wouldn't pile them up to make a mountain out of a molehill, but if you find there are certain events that don't seem to have been timed by major aspects in your progressed char, then you might look for active 15-degree aspects (those within a few minutes arc of exact).
