So back to the drawing board, with a bit of a clearer mind, and structured approach. Still using the orb of 20 minutes for transiting planets triggering midpoint pictures.
UNLESS there is already a natal or progressed planet being triggered. I am using 1 degree for those in event charts, and checking to which midpoint pictures they are tied; in this case the orb might extend to about 1 degree as well.
Now for last saturday, we were having a triple 4th harmonic alignment of Sun, Moon and Saturn from 28-29 of fixed signs (Moon-Saturn in Scorpio, Sun in Leo).
Moon, as the fast moving one here, was exacting the 4th harmonic pattern during the evening (and curiously enough once Moon had JUST touched off Saturn and Sun respectively and was preparing to separate, I was leaving as well, which was a bit premature, but my parents were waiting for me already, so I had to cut it short before it was officially ended).
Anyway so I checked for Sun(day) and Moon (hour) together as they were just under one degree anyway.
What i find interesting however is that during the event I described, transiting MC had ALSO come into alignment with Tr MOon and Tr Sun, it was conjunct Tr Moon btw.
While the Sun and Moon of course were relatively stable and unchanging at least for the course of one or two hours, the transiting MC made that a VERY specific point in time (changing one degree every 4 minutes approximately).
Of course in the eventchart itself, having Moon on the MC is quite telling itself.
For me this Sun-Moon-(Saturn)-MC, was roughly triggering my pVenus at 27 Aquarius along with my nBML at 27/28 Aquarius as well.
now the orbs might be a tad wide, Tr Sun being 2 degrees of opposing my pVenus (and Tr Venus opposing my n Moon - how curious!); Tr MC was about 1,5 degrees off my Venus and Tr MOon was just about 1 degree of my p Venus.
Now in the case of Tr MC it might be the case that I might have gotten the time wrong for 2 minutes of course, and had it been actually 2 minutes earlier, the transiting MC would have been even closer aligned with my p Venus - hence I still consider it as being triggered.
so we have:
Tr Sun= Tr Moon= Tr MC=
pVenus
= nSaturn/Pluto = n Mercury/Uranus = pNode/MC = p Sun/Jupiter
= (nSun/Uranus)
Tr MC was also VERY closely conjunct n Sun/URanus-mp (only 2 minutes of arc) - it was still 1,5 degree away from p Venus, but my Venus is actually applying to that, and I wonder if through the transiting MC that day, I was getting a "taste" of what that pVenus=Sun/Uranus, will be like, once it is near exactness. (in december this year)
Tr ASC=
Jupiter/Neptune = Jupiter/node = pSun/Saturn (separating already)
Tr Sun/Moon (this day and hour)=
pSaturn 0°01!
= Moon/Neptune
= Moon/Node
*sighs* especially the triggering of Moon/Node could have been so nice! But no damned Saturn has to be in the way once again! And see how close?
Actually my pSaturn is applying to my p DESC slowly (peak: march 2017 - so still some time).
well maybe he did keep the Moon/Neptune in check a little.
Saturn has been all over my chart (and life) for the recent years, and he is not letting up! I need him though.
Tr ASC/MC (this place and minute)
= Saturn/ASC = p Saturn/Neptune = p Sun/MC
if you read the interpretations of these they feel so gloomy esp. Saturn/Neptune, however i do wonder if maybe for me they also represent separating dreams from reality. with Sun/MC triggered it certainly brought a it of identity-thoughts to the forefront.
(btw it was also conjunct our composite Sun, interestingly enough).
so to summarize it; what was activated for me:
(pVenus) = pNeptune/MC (wide)
(Ideas on love and affection are not clear and distinct)
To appear unreliable or mysterious. To be uncomfortable. Introspective, soul searching, mystical. To be unsure, unable to support. To be intuitive. To concentrate on the future. To follow the unknown. The doubtful. To be sensitive or Intuitive.
(pVenus) = n Moon/Jupiter
To love happy; and cheerful hours. A woman made happy by love.
An abundance of feeling, a harmonious nature radiating happiness, an
artistic sense. A woman artist. A happy and loving woman.
pVenus= nSaturn/Pluto
Harmony and love develop slowly. to separate in peace. renunciation.
(it is a weird midpoint, as it can mean two very different things)
pVenus= Mercury/Uranus
Sudden love. Sense for rhythmic or plastic beauty. Singing. Sudden pleasant news. Sudden news from friends. Excitement with or through acquaintances.
pVenus= p Node/MC
The urge to reveal one's innermost feelings and inclinations in
personal associations. The capacity to love with one's whole heart.
p Venus = pSun/Jupiter
Healthy love-relationship, healthy sex life. The beautiful body,
good art. Recognition, honours. Success in love, the loving husband.
The man in love. To physically feel happy because of love. Success with hobbies and favored recreation activities. Indulgences.
p Venus= Sun/Uranus
Unexpected affection or love. Sudden events concerning love. Romantic love. To be ecstatic over love. A happy surprise.Sudden outbursts of affection and love, the tendency to fall in love
quickly. Romantic or unusual experiences of love.
Tr ASC was also triggering:
Jupiter/Neptune = Jupiter/Node = pSun/Saturn
I find the latter interesting, as Mr Sag`s natal Venus triggers the same midpoints in me (which was brought forefront through the transiting angle) and natally I have Venus=Sun/Saturn, so a natal picture being brought out through synastry and progression. Just one of those days I suppose (or months).
Hence I find the Venus=Sun/Saturn needs special mentioning
"Scruples related to love (ethical objections to certain actions). Restraints and difficulties related to love, shyness, inhibition, withdrawel, control, pessimism"
While all that is true, there are of course more positive manifestations possible. Sun/Saturn can be a pretty realistic, grounded, pragmatic combo, for stabilizing and structuring things, connected to relationships.
I guess that is my task right now, to find the best possible expression of this natal picture of mine.
well and then there were
Jupiter/Neptune
expansive, unrestricted visions; believing in the dream; possible unrealistic optimism, excessive escapism, idealism.
Well I can`t help but notice the contrast to the Sun/Saturn-picture.
But it is fitting, me having both and additionally Saturn/Neptune as a summary of both ends of the spectre.
Jupiter/node
optimistic expansive dealings with the public, an effusive public persona
(yes that is at least what I was showing).
Then of course
pSaturn=Moon/Neptune= Moon/Node
Well the older interpretations are all gloomy and depressing about that. Actually the Saturn-Moon-Neptune is a typical depression-combo, Moon/NOde with Saturn is also depressing, separative, gloomy.
However it might simply represent a restriction or refusal of any kind of emotional connection (Moon/Node) that is based on fantasy rather than realism (Moon/Neptune).
Saturn does not simply cut off things, he evaluates them, and only lets through what seems necessary and needed and good in the long run. and Moon/Neptune clearly does not belong in this category.
In the best case scenario it means a structuring of creative emotional connections.
Interestingly instead of the depression-factor of Saturn to Moon and/or Neptune, (though it was also a factor) I have in the last years experienced more the "anchoring in reality and manifestation, structuring and building" aspect of him.
But he really is a harsh judge of fantasies. :sighs:
and then this very specific moment also these were triggered
Saturn/ASC = p Saturn/Neptune = pSun/MC
again with the seriousness of Saturn.
And Saturn/Neptune coming up AGAIN.
Don McBroom has to say this about Saturn/Neptune
"giving substance to the dream. Making the intangible tangible; clarifying the nebulous, bending the rules; possible blurred or unclear boundaries"
I feel that sums it up better than the old doomsayer interpretations.
And on Sun/MC
"seeking out public exposure; thriving in the spotlight"
While i was not relaly "seeking" it out, I was surprised how comfortable i felt in the centre of attention. Not just in terms of Mr Sag, but actually the others as well.
Also I looked up the interpretation of Saturn/Pluto in Mc Brooms book
"increased stability as a result of major change or sacrifice; meeting of irresistible force and immovable object; monumental power struggle between status quo and necessary; inevitable change"
Definitely feel THAT ONE very clearly. since it is my Venus applying to saturn/Pluto, the change relates to her. It is change and transformation that HAS to happen through or of my attitude to relationships, love and my perception of myself as a woman.
Of course with Saturn/Pluto, there are sacrifices to be made, getting rid of things you donīt quite WANT to get rid of, but have to; to realize that what you WANT is not necessarily the same as what you NEED, and surrendering to Need rather than what you think you want. And yes I have been there already (the p Venus= pSaturn/Pluto was already exact last january/ february), and it is not fun, but I also realized that there is a lot to gain as well.
Interestingly my Mercury/Uranus and Sun/Uranus midpoints are also at 28 of fixed signs (just in scorpio instead of leo), so the heavy transformative catalystic vibration of Saturn/Pluto also always comes together with the crazy making quick liberation of these Uranian pictures. Change is inevitable.
Well I do think those Saturn-pictures are usually more background humming, but hammering away relentlessly though not as flashy. Uranus, Jupiter, Mars those tend to be more in the forefront of the mind, whihc might be the reason that I clearly instanyl could recognize the effect of the Moon/Jupiter, MErucry/Uranus, Sun/Jupiter and Sun/Uranus.
Oh btw speaking of Saturn/Pluto - maybe the fact i was having a toothache was even related to that. lol
