Hello! Haven't been on here in quite some time - so I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section!

I have a question/topic I'm rather curious about. I'm starting to get to know a natal Venus retrograde man. I'm a bit confused, as he's also from the UK and I'm from the states, so there's also cultural differences.. He seems to be interested, but feel now that its progressing, he's taking a step back. I read this could be due to his Venus retrograde. Anyone else have any experience with this? Here are our charts as well..
Me -
Sun - Scorpio, Moon - Cancer, Mercury - Scorpio (retro), Venus - Virgo, Mars - Sagittarius

Him -
Sun - Leo, Moon - Cancer or Leo (not sure of his time), Mercury - Virgo (retro), Venus - Virgo (retro), Mars - Virgo

Thank you for your help in advance!!

The Venus Retro is hard, the hardest Retro imo It makes the person kind of stew when it comes to love and it's expressions.

Thank you for your reply!

Yes, I can definitely see that. I know he feels the connection too, but now that we're discussing us travelling to meet, he's been a bit more distant. My plan is to just back up a bit and give him some time and see what happens..

It is not his fault. The Retros turn inward, through no fault of their own. I have some articles on it.

Yeah, I knew having Venus in Virgo and in retrograde would probably make things a little more challenging, but I'm just trying to prepare my cancer moon for the journey. Not sure what exactly to expect - I'd love to read your articles to get some insight!

Also, we do have Sun square Saturn in synastry so I know that could possibly be tough depending. But we also have good flowing aspects like Venus trine Saturn, sun sextile Venus, moon sextile Venus, etc to balance it out hopefully!
