Today I experiemced Neptune in all it's glory. When that happens it's like something inside of your head clicks and you're snapped back into reality. It feels like you just woke up from a fog. Any idea how to avoid Neptune plagues such as these? I guess avoid situations that aren't clear is one, right?

How?? I don't want to get into details about it but basically i believed i had a connection with someone when really that connection ended year(s) ago. I'm not upset by it I'm just like "Wow I REALLY just dove in, didn't I?"

Some connections are etereal, spiritual, like Neptune´s Kingdom... You just feel it, can't beat it because they will prevail... just understand that past is behind even you still fell this kind of bliss... That's when Saturn has to do it's work...

I have my hermetic cage called Saturn and two lengths of chains composed of an airy gemini sun and a charming libra moon just for that delusional trouble-maker.

No seriously, Neptune can be hard to live with, but it also bring incredible inspiration and enlightment. It's the muse of the chart, don't repress it or try to "beat" it. Just try to understand it. There are reasons as to why Neptune acts a certain way, and understanding those reasons, and the way Neptune manifests itself, is way better than to try to pummel it into oblivion.
Planets and aspects have this nasty way of biting you in the a** if you try to repress them...

^^ I like what you wrote. I guess I am just worried that even if I become the most creative person that I will still have bouts of delusion anyway. That's all I really want to avoid is the delusion associated with Neptune....but of course I don't want to be Practical, Serious Samantha either.

See where and how Neptune makes you delusional. Where is it in your chart? How does it connect to other planets?

Once you know these, you will be able to start seeing a pattern with Neptune, as to the moment and the way it struck you.
At that point, maybe making a list of how you react would alleviate your mind and it would be easier for you to keep track of how it affect your life.
Once you've done that, then comes the point of working around the problem. There are reasons to everything in life and solutions to every problems, however they can't be found until you've found the cause of said issues, which will start by finding the pattern I talked over there ^.

Your chart isn't in stone and set for life, I see them as a sort of blueprint.
They bring the basics of one's personality and are a great help, because they also indicate where some issues can manifest themselves, but that doesn't mean that they are the end of it all.
My personal opinion is that, despite the help and enlightenment astrology can bring, not everything can be resolved with it.
Issues are there because of a reason that happened in your life.
May it be a cause of a childhood trauma, or simply a dysfunction in the chemical process of your brain, remember that everything has a cause and, thus, a solution to resolve it.

I have Neptune conjuct Moon, square Saturn and Mars also natally.

With the transit of Neptune I'm going through the past couple of years, conjuct my natal Mars oppose Saturn , and Saturn almost conjuct Neptune Moon, and so on.. I Have come to a point of realising that no, you can't beat him, ever. but learn to work around him or with him

Good advice 👍 I will make a list!

I know the aspects by heart. I have Sun,Moon Mercury and Venus (Moon in Taurus, the others Aries) and while my Moon trines Neptune, the Aries ones square Neptune in Capricorn which is in my 7th.

In addition I have ore watery influence concerning my relationships and relationships with men by having Mars in my 12th, in a mutable sign no less.

And thus I am kind of blind to the characters of people I love in a way. I am too forgiving and not mean enough.

I wanted to add that Neptune symbolizes love. Love that transcend matter. Love that transcend reciprocity or lack of it. According to Neptune, we are all ONE. So if you felt you had a connection with someone, even though the connection was not reciprocal, it doesn't mean that what you felt was not genuine. Just honor yourself and what you felt, and move on without blaming, especially without blaming yourself. You are wiser.
