Hi Guys !

I do not know much about Saturn except him eating his own children and that did seem a bit too much.

I have 12th house Saturn in Scorpio and most famous celebrity Scorpio Sun I have looked upon have gone through having children and taking break from their career.

Having Children is a big limitation on your life and most parents I know with nuclear family, less support, high expectation for parents, expensive childcare finds it difficult to raise a child let alone children.

There is extreme importance given on child future and concern for children as they are innocent and unable to speak however I feel there is very little for mental health of parents and stigma behind Post Natal Depression for women isn't enough. After witnessing lots of domestic violence and child abuse in my life and others I can assure we as human beings have come to a society where taking care of yourself has become so difficult and on top of it taking care of our children.

If child has a problem first thing happens is parents get blame for it. Not to mention that their grandparents had very unrealistic expectation. Uranus - somehow I see baby boomers as very Uranian ????

They are ones who do not want to do anything but have lots of expectation or are confused on how to go forth currently.

I personally think more tools are already needed to cope as a single with ever changing technology and complex life we live in. Having children seems to further make life complicated thus I do not think Saturn did anything wrong in eating his own children apart from using contraceptive and perhaps stopping at first ;-)

*Saturn in the 5th giggles*

Maybe the true story is that he was reduced to a sperm donor-provider by his wife and she didn't even want to put out except the times when she wanted to get pregnant and it was his children who paid for it. Or he turned antinatalistic but she didn't want to go on the pill and she would always poke holes in condoms. Either way, she kept popping dem out and he decided to correct this terrible mistake.

Fun fact: in Arthur Schopenhauer's (the father of antinatalism) chart there's a tight Sun-Saturn conjunction.

Very Interesting ! lol...

I am interested to know how Saturn in 5th works ? Your views on children and so forth ?

I have Uranus in 5th so let crazy time begin and then let Saturn come to systematize I suppose. What Happy times that would be?

Congrats, you've opened Pandora's box

I think having crotch goblins is something that should be preceded by intensive consideration. Reckless breeding tends to get on my nerves. There are many bad reasons to do it and many people who shouldn't do it whether because they're unfit or/and aren't in the right place in their life. It's one of the most, if not the most life changing thing that can happen to someone and if it backfires it affects multiple people, including someone who had no say in the matter, so the social pressure surrounding this phenomenon is insane to me. On the other hand, I can imagine how nice it is to see others join this collective misery To be honest, I can't help but find this quest for mini-meees self-serving and highly irrational, often I feel repulsed when I think of it. I wouldn't necessarily react to it so strongly if there weren't so many people who act like acquiring children is some miracle/highest possible achievement/an act earning the hero title/universal life purpose/another type of delirium. I'm somewhat adoption friendly but unfortunately this area has its rotten spots too.

As you've probably figured out by now, I intend to morph into a crazy spinster dog lady instead of a granny. The why list is quite long. In short, I don't want it and I know it's not a good idea. Well, in my case at least. I'm pretty sure it would feel like a burden most of the time (Saturnian enough?). I could probably enjoy closely mentoring some exceptional kid though.
