Wonder if anyone's noticed/observed if there's any difference in a child who's born of someone say, at the age of 21, versus say, after their Saturn Return, around the age of 31

I would assume, generally speaking, perhaps the child born after one's Saturn Return would have more "potential" already built in them that the parents have "worked on"... but idk. I also feel this could engrave bad habits on a child if the parents haven't resolved some issues? maybe it could be a crutch? HMP. I'm just tossing ideas out there... haha.

Thoughts anyone? (:

From my experience, I've seen that most children who are born before their parents' Saturn return usually have more Saturn aspects in their chart. This is partly because they have to deal more with security, money, survival, etc, and also due to the fact that they act AS a Saturnian influence on their parents.

For instance, I know a woman who had her first child at 25, a few years before her Saturn return. The child was born with Moon/Saturn square. Although she managed to care for the child, she really experienced difficulties at age 29- the year of her Saturn return- when she had to put the child in school, had to find another job to support the increasing costs, etc.

Saturn indicates delays, so a child born pre-Saturn return may be responsible and act very self-contained (like an adult) when young and then experience his/her youth in older ages. Alternatively, a child born during that time may have trouble focusing in school (I know one who has a Mercury/Saturn square), or maybe they have a few issues with emotional repression.

As far as anecdotal evidence for more Saturn in the chart, my mom had me when she was 19 and I am basically made entirely of Saturn haha. Saturn conjunct sun, Uranus, and Neptune in Capricorn 4H, along with a dangling Aquarius Venus (which is my chart ruler! Almost everything connects to Saturn).

Saturn in Scorpio last degree and Saturn Return has really made me feel ok now. I had my child almost during my Saturn return as I was pregnant. All the **** is done like marriage, child and all responsibility is understood, not necessarily I agree with it...lol..
All the crap from childhood family as well so hopefully upwards and onwards.
Would I have prefer to do it early? Not sure...Pros and Cons to do both early or late.

Would you like to have bad news first or good news first ?

Work, Work, Less Work, Less Work,Play OR
Play Less Work, Less Work, Work, Work

I had like Jupiter Transits which I really loved in my 10th house ,Saturn Transits and then Jupiter Transits after that. Hopefully if Saturn doesn't reward me than perhaps Jupiter will. I miss Jupiter Transit.

My mother had me during her Saturn Return
My school is in the 29th degree of Aries, exactly squares Neptune and it's in the 4th house. I don't really have many Saturn aspects.

I can vouch for this too.

My boyfriend and his sister were both born before their mother's Saturn Return and they are both heavily Saturnian. My boyfriend worse so.

Boyfriend:
Saturn in 7th square Sun, inconjunct Moon, square Mercury, conjunct Mars

Sister:
Saturn in 1st conjunct ASC, sextile Sun, semi-sextile Mercury, square Mars

Thanks everyone for your replies, and thanks in advance for anyone else. Saturn's 'energy' is very intriguing to me right now... perhaps a result of Tr Saturn sqaure my Natal Saturn?

Interesting. That pattern seems common now among young folk nowadays, lots of maturity at a young age, puberty, having kids very young, etc. Perhaps though, its in favor of life's demands right now, everything is quick quick, go go, with lots of impatience.

How would you interpret post Saturn?

Are we talking specifically about the mother or the father?
Because my dad was 25 and my mom was 35.

I do have a few saturn aspects in the chart. I did act like a responsible kid, now I decided to live life and my saturn return is in 3 years...yikes

They seem to have a more balanced chart, not as overwhelmingly focused on Saturn. Many children who were born pre-Saturn return tend to have a closer relationship with their mothers, a more aspected moon, whilst their Sun or Mars has some harsh aspects to it (they have to overcome obstacles to express themselves) or those planets are placed in the mutable houses (they must learn how to adapt).

In contrast, post-Saturn return children either have a stronger dose of Sun or Mars- which are often placed in the cardinal houses or the fixed houses, meaning they are more certain of their identity and are more willing to take charge of their environment rather than adapt to it. I also associate Pluto and Neptune influences with pre-Saturn whereas post-Saturn tends to have more Jupiter and Uranus influence. There are exceptions to the rule, but this is a lot of what I've observed over time.

Either I suppose. Both would just add to the complexity to the soup that makes up this topic. Though, the more complex, the better perhaps:P Thanks for the input though!

Very interesting observations, and depth of info! Thanks for the input.

I am actually a post Saturn Return child, both mother and father. But I was born recently after my mothers. My chart is a good mixture of both worlds, according to what you stated above. Interesting.

My mom had me well after her saturn return (late 30s). Both Saturn and Pluto are dominant in my chart.

Eh, I was born after Saturn return as well and I have both of those dominant. Being born after doesn't really prevent yout from having those influences. But those born before usually have those two planets aspecting the IC. Scorpio/Capricorn IC are common.
