I would be an earth rising.
I'm generally earth void (minus my Venus in Taurus), so I feel that I'm quite emotional and temperamental. I honestly believe that if I had a earth rising, I would be more logical, rational and unaffected by ******** . If I had to choose, I think it would be Virgo rising. They are slow and deliberate and I like this quality. IP: Logged |

Slow?  No way! I do get what you mean. It is very practical. I am also very happy with my rising because Pluto and Uranus are in the 1st house and I LOVE IT! Second would be Aquarius rising I guess. IP: Logged |

Being the Capricorn rising that I am, logic tells me to aim for Gemini ASC, because that puts my Jupiter in 2nd. The payoff over time should be greater than the risk of ASC possibly square moon, mercury, mars, and venus. All in all a net gain But really, looking at my chart I would not change the sign, just the degree... Maybe 16 Capricorn so it touches more of my earth placements, and falls out of opposition with my early Cancer Jupiter. Having an exalted Jupiter in 6th sounds like fun. IP: Logged |

Scorpio rising here and I am okay with it. However Aires rising sounds cool. My scorpio rising makes me too introverted and quiet and having a more extroverted rising sign would make my life easier.IP: Logged |

Aquarius comes to my mind first. They are one of the most sweetest and nicest people. Or at least thats how i see it with my Aquarius sun. Libra comes second because they are so charming and radiating, but i would not want to have a Capricorn ic. IP: Logged |

I'd like to be a Leo Rising. I'm a Cancer Rising (24°), and my progressed AC has been in Leo for most of my life. Right now, my progressed AC is at 29° Leo, and next year it will move into Virgo. I'm a little bummed about it changing, and I'm gonna miss my progressed Leo Rising. IP: Logged |

I've always had magnificent years whenever my SR ASC was in Leo! Although that could possibly put my moon in the 6th or 7th house depending on the degree, and I much prefer it to be in its natural 5th house. Wasn't meant to be. Otherwise I love being a Virgo ASC - my style is crisp, my mind is alert, I'm a master of micromanaging, details, tone, fitness, health, and the degree that my ASC is in makes a perfect trine to my Sun in Taurus and Saturn in Capricorn, so I do feel blessed with this ASC. I've had bad experiences with Libra ASCs.. I think Scorpio is the most powerful ASC personally but it can be a bit "much" to experience on the other side (to say the least) lol IP: Logged |

Wow! Sounds awesome. Maybe I shouldn't be so bummed about my progressed AC moving into Virgo next year. I have a Virgo Moon in my natal chart, so everything you mentioned is stuff I already love, so maybe having my progressed AC in the same sign as my natal Moon will just make those things more prominent. I feel you! I've loved having a sag asc and now it's at 26 degrees so still a few years yet but I don't want to be a cap rising. They seem so cold and boring. Sorry people! Tell me something good about them lol.

I wonder why Scorp Rising are so powerful? I have it and a pluto first so I can only imagine how intense I come off! And I hate it sometimes because I'm a pisces I just want to talk to people without them getting so intimidated IP: Logged |

If I would choose,I would rather like Gemini or Saggy rising because they are fun, witty and optimistic. I don't like my Virgo rising, pessimistic,picky and lack of confidence. quote:

Virgo rising doesn't always act slow. I am a fast walker/talker/doer. I think the whole chart should be looked at. Virgo ASC/Sun/Venus/Saturn/NN don't drag me behind.... IP: Logged |

Yes there are many issues, but I just feels it add to the depth of my chart and makes me complete... sort of...
I don't know how to say it, it's just this feeling that without my pisces AC, there'd be a huge piece of the puzzle misplaced or missing... IP: Logged |
