That when I go to different astrology sites for synastry reports, I sometimes get different aspects in the composite? One site even said that I had a virgo midheaven even though most said I have it as leo...I'm thoroughly confused as to how the resulting reports can be accurate.IP: Logged |

There are different systems that use different ways to measure the chart. As someone who has most of my placements on a cusp I have to be very mindful of the system I use as my houses, MC, and the like can change all too easily when I switch to a different system. That's the short answer, I can't give a longer explanation at the moment. IP: Logged |

I just stick with what I use. I don't even know the name of it (though I know the names of systems that it's not) because most astrologers seem reluctant to name their system (probably because the market wants to avoid "brand loyalty"). There is one system that I want to look at again. Unknown to me it was a different system but gave me a Gemini MC and it fit so well and explained so many things. Eventually I realized this was a different system and have tried to find it again but to no avail. I wanted to see how the rest of my chart played out according to that system but so far have been unable to so I guess it's not a commonly used system. Just to be clear I'll add that I don't think "only one system is true." I don't feel like explaining my esoteric views (especially when they're a minority viewpoint anyway) but I think there's truth to about all of them. But some can be much better than others. If you mean composite charts> One system is likely based on calculating midpoint of space and another midpoint of time, just taking a guess at what you are experiencing. I suggest pick one and stick with it. OR Are you looking at two natal charts in a biwheel and the MC is displayed incorrectly?------------------ -- IP: Logged |

I'm a noob at this. IP: Logged |
