Topic: Is Lilith a "tease?"

I've read this somewhere but now I can't find any info on this personality trait of Lilith. I wonder because I have some Lilith going on (BML conjunct moon/chart ruler and opposite Mars, another Lilith sitting on my MC). I have been called a tease a lot, or told I'm playing "hard to get." I'm not doing it on purpose, it's just the way I am. I think I just enjoy entertaining ideas more than following through. I'll talk tona lot of people at once and talk to all of them the same way, and I just assume they're doing the same thing, but apparently they're not. It frustrates people, and some people even end up hating me for it. I don't know if it's something I can change, or even want to. I am what I am and I interact with people the way I do. But I'm wondering if this is a Lilith thing? Or maybe Neptune? I also have sun square Neptune and Venus trine Neptune. I guess I really want to know about the Lilith personality, and if this is something that can be attributed to Lilith. Not to make excuses, just for my knowledge. IP: Logged |

I do this too. I have Moon/Pluto/Asteroid Lilith conjunct in Scorpio.Yeah, I feel like everybody else is talking to lots of people...and then when they say I don't I can barely believe it. It's so natural to me. I like being seduced, but I prefer it's me doing the teasing...Lilith... IP: Logged |

I would not say "tease" per se. I would call venus in Gemini more of a tease. I would say that her raw sexuality is kind of out there lol------------------

To be clear, when I say "tease" I mean someone who leads people on, not someone who withholds sex. Although I fit both criteria lol. My progressed Venus is in Gemini so that's interesting. I'm not sure I experience Lilith in the "raw sexuality" way. I feel that way on the inside but it's seething beneath the surface. I'm not sure people would notice it about me. IP: Logged |

No, Lilith is not a tease, not in the slightest way. She wants to merge, to be an equal to Adam (have you read the myth? She was supposed to be Adam's first wife, created not from his rib, but from clay, like him, and she was banished from Eden when she refused to be subservient to him).
Sensing that most men don't want such a deep connection and experience, she starts to tease, hoping to preserve her power and control. But all she really wants is to abandon herself to an equal.

I think it makes a lot of sense.
I do see how I tease, but only when I'm not really interested or don't see the person as my equal. Or, as you said if I sense the other person isn't. But I can be very intense when I'm very interested in someone. IP: Logged |

To answer your question I think so. And also you said you're not sure if it is something you want to change. As a guy I'd say the only problem with girls who are teases is the fact that guys might not take you seriously. If that's not an issue with you then you should be yourself. But if that is an issue and you want guys to take you seriously you should probably dial it down. IP: Logged |

I'm past the point of needing a man's approval. Especially the ones I don't care much for anyway. I don't tease the ones I like.

Ugh. Just ugh. I have nothing personally against you. I just strongly dislike the quality of someone having no "follow-through" - especially in regards to romance! The guys I really like don't know I am talking to others. I would stop if there was an actual "relationship."

I dont think Lilith is a tease. I think if a man expects or demands sex Lilith will leave him with a hard on alone in a hotel and drive away in her car not caring at all LOL. I have done that a few times..BUT I am far from being a tease, when I want someone they will get some and with fireworks and to top if off they will gain a loyal friend but for me to want you it means you are a special kind of guy in the first place, the kind who can carry on a conversation and respects my body and MIND, the kind that likes a strong smart woman and the kind that does not like double standards when it comes to gender and sexuality. A guy who is secure, can keep it real, wants an equal and won't shy away from intensity. If I dont feel respected and I don't sense you see me as an EQUAL I don't have a problem leaving you with a hard on in a hotel bc quite frankly YOU DONT DESERVE ME AT ALL. Well I have Lilith(BML) in 8th house conjunct my jupiter, and true Lilith conjunct my sun, opposite my moon. I spent the first part of my life afraid of men and the reactions I might get. I am a late bloomer, so finally coming in to my own, I find I love being sexy and attractive to men. I do not lead on, but I love to flirt. And once I have their attention, I like to keep it, even if I don't intend to act on it. I am not letting them think I plan on doing anything about it, but I am also not trying to obliterate their attraction to me. Which is what I used to do. I have finally come to enjoy being a woman.
