does it really work to move in another place the day the new solar return is begining in order to change a naughty solar return ?i am realyy dooubt about this because if you move far to change your solar return then come back to your former place you just come back to same energies of the place.... Oh, TRUST me, visions, you can only spend a few hours (including the time of your SR) in a different place and then come back to your home country/city, and it would be felt! Do not underestimate the power of event charts. One tiny moment in time can change lives. And since a picture is worth a thousand words, I give you two! My SR as it would have been had I stayed home and the SR I got when I impulsively decided let's go crazy for my bday, say Amsterdam??? Only in my case it went from good to horrible. SR I would've had if I stayed where I am:
Whoa, imagine that!! Jup on MC, Venus in the 7th, the benefics going cardinal on me, finally finally, thank you sweet Universe. I've had bad SR charts in the past few years (cardinal grand cross, anyone??), this should have been my lucky break. But nooooo... someone's addicted to misery, it seems. I decided to travel for my birthday. And not check astrology. Bad combination.
SR I ended up with...
Not quite as happy, wouldn't you say? Well, *I would* considering how it's being played out: -3 months into the SR my mom died suddenly -my relationship is very unstable despite being very loving and growth-oriented; we also fight a lot. Initially I thought I found the father of my children, now I don't even know if we can make it one more month. -I lost one of my jobs (thankfully, I kept more than one job but this was my MAIN job) and now I just don't know what the future will hold.
And this could have been avoided, to some extent, had I just stayed home for my bday. Oh, and to answer your question, I only stayed for 3 days in Amsterdam, but the effects of the SR are still manifesting. IP: Logged |

I'm sorry to hear how things played out for you @ Dancing Maenad. I will definitely be traveling now for my bad SRs. I'm scared of one in particular that shows Saturn & Pluto in my 7th house/ Uranus in my 5th that comes up in a few yrsAlso just want to add I had 3 planets and chiron in my 12th for this year's solar return. Not so great of a year, and I'd wished I'd known about SR travel before. IP: Logged |

So it's working like that? I thought it just mattered where you are currently living all the time/most of the time..not just where you are in that one particular day.IP: Logged |

I had asked the same question a while back and didn't receive any replies. I had a horrible SR for this yr. Everything packed into the 6th house.I did relocate for this SR, but it has only been a few days. It shifted 3 of the planets (Ven. Jup. & Moon) into the 5th. Oh my fingers are crossed that this will have an influence. I will come back when I get a bit farther into the year and can give accurate feedback. Have you looked at your precessed SR? Just curious. I've actually found them to much more accurate than regular returns. IP: Logged |

hello back again on this thread to seek advice, just look a at what is my solar return in my town : sagi sr IC, ruler jupiter in the 1st but sr IC will square my natal venus which is 1°51 pisces... and now if i move not so away some miles, i move the IC/MC axis from sign !! so not the same ruler for both house!! in barcelona IC is 29° scorpio and 29°Taurus Mc so venus ruler of mc and mars and pluto ruler of SR IC plus the SR IC at 29°scorpion will trine my natal 29°cancer Jupiter ! But in the other hand i lose that SR Jupiter in the 1st ruler for my IC in the other hand. which sign should i choose to lessen conflict ? BARCELONA, SPAIN SR IP: Logged |

help plz !!!i think seekin that scorpio IC can be double whammy because of mars and pluto who get both bad squares...and venus is not so fine, but pluto is in trine with jupiter and in sextile with venus so the ruler of ic is in good relationship with ruler of MC ! but keeping thaht saigattarius IC promise a more optimistic tone with jupiter ruler in the first house but also arrogance, exageration and bigger problem from that awful IC moon-saturn conjunction... so which pills should i take ? I don't think the difference is that big and it really depends how you want your next year to be. I for one wouldn't mind a harsher IC life but an easier MC life - I would go with Tau/Scorpio for IC/MC, especially since sweet Venus only receives an opposition from Jupiter which is not bad. But you might be lazy and slack in matters of work/career. Plus you could fall in love at the job and lose your head lol. I kid. Well, no, it is a possibility but let's hope it won't be entirely like that. Leaving Gem/Sag as your angles makes Mercury ruler of MC, placed in the 8th (I dread that one), squared by Pluto. Idk, it's too morbid and manipulative for me. But indeed the IC life would be lighter and happier. So, it's up to you, darling. It seems like you have an interesting year ahead of you, though it seems you're rushing a bit, it's not even Libra season yet, nevermind Aries lol. IP: Logged |

I think it should have a difference! Lucky you that you noticed in due time. And btw, happy (belated) birthday! I like precessed SRs too, but for some reason stick with the tropical charts. Well, if they are indeed more accurate, I *might* get pregnant this year lmao. From the precessed pov, I think my chart got better in Amsterdam compared to staying home. Both show Moon in the 6th :/ conj NN.. yay. IP: Logged |

tahnk you dancin meanad to reply to my topic, i saw you are always there when i ask something ! you are so kind !i think it might be better to stay with the sagittarius IC in the end, because jupiter as the ruler may bring more chance in that area but also bigger problem, but i have a good jupiter in my natal chart whereas not a so good pluto...but a SR 29° scorpio IC will be in trine with my natal jupiter which is the lord of my natal 4rth. Actually this sr has same house as may natal. i am so lost... IP: Logged |
