This is just a light hearted, tongue-in-cheek sort of thread...Who would you say is the most stubborn of the fixed signs, and why?

They always say Taurus, but I find that Taurus is usually too laid back to be stubborn. We are also notorious pushovers.My fellow fixed signs on the other hand......!!! Scorp would have to take the cake imo. Leo's can often be "easy" too. But stubborn in certain ways. I haven't known enough Aquarians to rate them. The one i did know was a bit hardheaded in his beliefs. IP: Logged |

My Taurus dad isn't that stubborn. I was more stubborn than he was, when my progressed Moon was in Scorpio, and still can be (Scorpio ascendant). IP: Logged |

Heyyyyy we have the same sun/moon combination! Not often I run across another one on the internet  I honestly believe the Aquarius-Leo axis is the most stubborn because of the vibe of "superiority" that is so omnipotent in both - with Aquarians it's intellectual, and with Leo's it's "innate"

I didn't think of taurus as being pushovers and attributed giving in to having a sag moon just because otherwise the sign is so allied to stubbornness. But yes, the easy-going part people forget. I reckon we can be stubborn over certain things a lot though, intensly but it's probably rarer than it seems of the sign as a whole

Well-said. Leo can be coaxed if you are easy-going, compliment them here and there. Scorpio is the sign of transformation, so often times life brings them experiences that radically change their perspective. They change their minds themselves. Aquarius is drawn to what is unconventional and new. I've noticed Aquarius may suddenly pick up one opinion/activity obsessively then drop it just as fast. Not really stubborn in my experience. Taurus, however. Once they make up their minds, there is no ounce of persuasion that you can do in order to change it. Their determination is admirable. Their stubborness? Not so much. IP: Logged |

There is a difference between the unpredictable nature of Aquarius and the decidedly stubborn streak that exists within them. Hmm, this is true. They are called the devil's advocate for a reason... I feel like reverse psychology works really well on them. I suppose they are drawn to doing the opposite of whatever one says for the sake of doing a point. If you do what they don't expect you to do, they usually play along. All of the Aquarian/Uranian influenced people I know are at least willing to debate/exchange their ideas, which makes me interpret them as less stubborn. IP: Logged |

Leo and Aquarius are both known for being open-minded and tolerant of other people's ideas. They always try new things...
Taurus and Scorpio have excellent self control and they are always willing to follow any path that is best to their security. But some of the mutable signs are so nerve-wrecked they wouldn't move or budge and inch... IP: Logged |
