Hi allI have a natal T sqaure in cardinal signs. It's wide, but still there. Moon in Capricorn 2nd house opposite Jupiter in Cancer 8th house, both squaring Pluto in Libra 11th house. I read that a cardinal T square represents correct action. My 2nd 8th house axis is sexual/physical values and relationships, as well as self esteem and values of self. Capricorn Cancer axis reflects the child parent relationship. So to interpret... is the struggle the restraints my mother put on my beliefs and foundational core created tension and conflict, but my pluto offers relief through a balance of transformation and growth in my house of hopes and dreams, (Libra, 11th). Is this right? I feel more comfortable understanding synastry readings, but really struggle with natal charts. I'd like to get better and be able to understand the psychology more. Any input to help me? IP: Logged |

"A T-square stimulates drive and courage, but also tension and conflict...Cardinal T-squares can be very impatient, but also enterprising and initiating...The focal planet is the point of great activity, overcompensation, and activation. It's where the native seeks to solve or resolve the conflict set up by the opposition." http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/aspectpatterns.html You know yourself best, obviously, but a T-square with the Moon opposing Jupiter and Pluto as its focal point could also symbolize your emotional attachments to material things in conflict with your values and need to expand/explore the more metaphysical side of life. You are attempting or should attempt to reconcile this through radical transformation, perhaps through your friends and support structures in your life - like joining organizations devoted to more "occult" topics (like astrology!). That's just my two cents, anyway. I have a ton of somewhat loose T-squares in my chart, so I'm pretty familiar with these inner conflicts! IP: Logged |

Oh thank you Magpie- that's true! I do struggle with who I want to be, and how I am being. I do want to let go of material values, having been raised in a family that always seeks bigger and better and more. I like those things, but I really want simplicity in my life. And you're right too about me aligning myself with support and friends and groups who do live more holistically, and less materially. thank you for that. IP: Logged | |
