Cats. Definitely cats. They're my familiar lol. It's relatively easy for me to get stray beauties to come to me, with or without using food as a lure.

Crows seem to like me. But I think it's only because I hand out food.

Dogs seem to hate me. They often bark at me. Ugh, a dog's barking is one of the few noises that can drive me up the wall.

I've never experienced a crow close by specifically just for food. Mind you, I don't eat outside. I don't 'litter' either, I've only seen one at a time/packs just...sitting and watching... when I'm walking and sleeping.

The food-feeding thing.. I have experienced with seagulls and chipmunks though!

Cats - outdoors ones will love all because of food.
Indoor ones differ - they will test the catnip out of you, and they don't even hide it!
Cats, like ' intelligent ' birds, will always ' know '.
Dogs - some may take some time. Some don't.

I like birds too. They are smarter than people give them credit for and are actually emotional creatures. I can get birds on the street to come to me but well, they go to anyone with food haha.

I like dogs. But only certain dogs. I dont like all dogs I meet or even had. Some dogs are very loyal and choose one owner, others are all over the place. Some dogs do great with a gentle hand but others you need to be forceful with. Ive had dogs that were like an extra limb. Ive had dogs I dont care for.

I dont like cats. Theyre just too independant for my taste. They want attention on their terms. I think also they sense Im not fond of them and wont give me the time of day.

Two things on birds:

I once fed some seagulls and noticed one had a six-pack plastic ring around its neck. And that's why when a seagull with that same ring came down beside me elsewhere in town about a week later I knew that bird remembered me as someone who feeds birds. They have an excellent memory. (I've heard even more amazing tales of their memorization skills.)

Another one was just funny to me. I was at a camping site and saw some seagulls cleverly open a lid tied to a motorcycle and then eating the food within (opening packages to do so). And then a woman, the owner of all that, came out of the restroom and screamed and ran with her arms spread...just like a seagull chasing other seagulls off.

Studies have shown that birds can recognize faces and voices. That it only takes one incident for a bird to recognize that a certain person is good to them or is bad to them! Even with different clothes on.

Birds have insane memories. If you like feeding birds or have them as pets its important to make a good first impression because they will remember it forever.

Also birds have been shown to recognize themselves in the mirror. Something cats and dogs and even some apes cant do!

Also crows can use tools. That is almost creepy! I want one as a pet and best friend

I rarely have bad experiences with animals. I have former feral cats (born on our property), rescue dogs (one left), I've had birds, a turtle, and rescued a baby groundhog last year. Dad picked her up and left her underneath some branches at the edge of the woods, but my cats were stalking her, and I wasn't sure if her parents were alive to find her. She climbed up them, and I reached out and grabbed her, just as she was about to drop (she was clinging to a branch with one tiny hand). So I brought her home, we bought supplies to try to feed her and keep her hydrated, and the following night, we drove her to a woman who rehabilitates groundhogs, and releases them back into the wild if they can be released. She has a few adults that couldn't be, so she keeps them to look after them, and to teach people about them. I still miss that baby being snuggled right into my arm, and then my neck.

Animals are directly related to astrology. Some of our own signs are a symbolic animal, also the stars themselves. Also, different cultures use animals as their astrology.

As for animals being directly connected to certain people/placements:
Every Scorpio sun man or woman I have encountered love dogs and usually have one as a pet.
The Sagittarian women I know love cats, and most dogs as well, but cats more. These two signs I have noticed with these two animals the most from my own experiences.

This is really nice! The fact that your family went out of their way for that baby is the best part.
Also cool to know about that woman and how she rescues the groundhogs and teaches people about them!

Dogs - I love them and they love me
Birds - one of my birds actually has a special way of singing when he hears my voice. So cuteee
Spiders - yes, I had one hanging from my glasses twice...while the glasses were actually in my face :-D

I'm just an animal lover in general. I don't like cats so much...I'm always afraid they'll scratch me. But I've met some nice ones who acted...like dogs lol

Thank you for actually making a link with astrology in this post!

I couldn't figure out what this thread and the posts I read had to do with astrology.
But don't mind me, I am not a moderator.

@ PixieJane - thanks for the mental seagull women image, hilarious!
@ soltze - the spider hanging off your glasses sounds wicked! Especially if you were reading or eating or something... At night!
bansheequeen - so true about crows! They also have brains quite similar to young children and even seem to act human-like in their interactions with one another!
It would be amazing to have one as a friend!
@ charlie - care to share any bird stories?
