Saturn transits often happen with split timing of the conjunction and parallel to a natal point. It can be incredibly constructive if used proactively, as I did when I changed my state of residence during Saturn's transit conjunct/parallel my Asc in 2009. This was the biggest change of my life by far, and opened up the door to all the good things that I'd been waiting for.Some astrologers have noticed that Saturn in transit conjunct natal Asc can often mean going (or finding) home. This can be because of unfinished business where you grew up, allowing for any karmic strings left untied to be taken care of. It also means an opportunity to tighten up and strengthen your personality, sometimes with added responsibilities for a time to find your limits. In your case, the data from your chart image indicates there was no possible Asc in early Sagittarius for this date/location, so you are probably Scorpio rising, which means the conjunction has already happened, and at most you've got only a bit longer for Saturn at 18S25 declination to pass out of parallel with a late Scorpio Asc.  What you've had more recently is Saturn's transit conjunct/parallel to natal Neptune [17S34], which is nearly over. However, it has begun its transit square to your natal Moon, which is not easy and will challenge you to find emotional balance over the next couple months. Saturn's square to your Moon will be mercifully brief, over by December, and will not return to early Sagittarius. This is a best case scenario. This transit by Saturn will most likely act as a 2-month trigger for a change of thinking since it just precedes Pluto's turn direct and square your natal Mercury. ------------------

Wow!!! Thank you, Kannon! I'm definitely feeling this hitting my moon and trying to deal with it accordingly. The one thing I've noted each time Saturn crosses over my Asc and into the first is that there is usually some kind of major life change that sticks. Interesting about the Scorp ascendent. I definitely feel more sagittarius and relate well to people born on the cusp. Thank you again - that was amazing feedback!!!  You are awesome!!! IP: Logged |

One more thing, in regards to Saturn on top of natal neptune, I felt that, too. That's the wonderful thing about astrology - having some sort of understanding of the transits definitely helps a person to put things into perspective. it's a good feeling to know that the not so happy moods associated with certain transits will eventually pass. Makes it a lot easier to deal with them - mind over matter. IP: Logged |

Got rid of false friends, got new and true ones, lost a lot of weight, my skin started to heal of acne and got better and more youthful looking, got a job and a new love. Saturn conjunct ASC. But Saturn will stay for another 2 or three years in my 1st house squaring my ASC.Gonna get my first Saturn Return.
