I am a twin and I am trying to figure out how to read mine and my brothers natal chart. I was born 5 minutes after him so there is not much difference in degrees of planets or in our natal chart in general but we are very different and so are our lives. We do have some similarities of course but not a lot.

Do you know why this is and how I can see the difference in our natal chart? Do I have to read our chart differently than for other people who are not twins?

And IIRC, they even liked different boys (and the boy one liked wasn't necessarily liked by the other). I also think one said she wanted to move far away while the other wanted to stay close to home! This defies environment, genetics, and astrology.

If you don't want to use the program. I think you can use astrodienst and produce a actual duad natal chart. Let me check. Okay it's the vedic d12 dwadasamsa chart. But how to make this actual chart in astrodienst, I don't know.

But here is the duad chart table. Take the planet's sign and degree in your natal chart and look it up in the duad chart to see what sign it falls into.

To calculate the dwad chart, go to astro.com put 12 in the day field and choose Harmonic In the Chart Type drop down box. You then have the 12th harmonic chart, which is the dwad chart.

On Astro.com click on free horoscopes -- extended chart selection -- the first drop down box says -- Please select the type of chart you want: scroll until you see --Harmonic -- then click on it -- look for -- Start date for charts marked with *: -- in the day field type in 12. Then click button.

That should give you at least one of the duad or dwad chart to work with.

There is only two differences.

1) the degrees of AC and MC
2) And also my mars conjuncts the MC, while his doesn't. Do you know what this means?

Everything else is pretty much the same for both of us

Glad I could help a little, yeah your degrees are identical, but maybe the ASC and Midheaven can explain a few of the differences...

Depending on your other chart factors, Mars conjunct the Midheaven can mean several things. I have this aspect but I have the square. Your aspect is much more positive without as much friction. It means you take your career, social image and standing very seriously. You want to achieve and excel. You may have to learn to deal with confrontations and people may be prone to arguing with you in your professional sphere, not always, but confrontation may be more intense than normal. Others may see you as aggressive and/or a self-starter in your career or think you are stubborn in trying to get your professional life established. You have a set way you want to get things going or feel you need to be independent. You may work with more men than women or be in an environment that is male dominated or receive help from males, either way, some type of masculine energy will be prominent. Male friends/bosses/mentors may offer guidance or help you in some way. People may see you as a doer, strong, resilient and fiery. People may have a need to test you out first. Even though you are a Pisces Sun, you still have this energy hidden within you and people will notice it. People may try to hold you down and contain your energy in someway, but you are not having none of that, you want to do your own thing. Pushing ahead in a fast or slow steady pace, either way you want self-actualization.

The Ascendant is the "demo reel" but the Midheaven is the "cosmic headshot", it is what everyone sees about you and want to get from you -- leadership, spirited dedication, innovation, strength and drive.

I do really want to achieve and excel, but I don't have confrontations at work, however I do always have some people who for one reason or another want to make me feel less good at my job, than I actually am. Also I am quite independent in work.

I do also work with men mostly as i work in technology industry hahaha how weird is that?

By i am a little bit confused about my ASC in this chart as it says that I am libra?? But in my natal chart I am cancer.

Well I am happy to hear that i have this good aspect and I look forward to having this energy even more when i get older...at least the positive sides of it
