In same-planet synastry (Sun-Sun, Moon-Moon, Mercury-Mercury etc) - Do you feel like your most compatible placements are the ones that are sextile your own (and of the same orientation: personal, social or transpersonal) ?

Every sign has two sextiles, but only one of them is of the same orientation.
For example, Aries (personal) is sextile Gemini (also personal!) and Aquarius (transpersonal).

Actually, I'll list the sextile pairs because some of us are new to astrology:

Aries - Gemini (personal)
Taurus - Cancer (personal)

Leo - Libra (social)
Virgo - Scorpio (social)

Sagittarius - Aquarius (transpersonal)
Capricorn - Pisces (transpersonal)

What I'm asking is... Let's say you have a Sagittarius Moon, is your most compatible Moon - Aquarius (rather than Leo or Aries)?

Or if you have a Gemini Mars, is your most compatible Mars - Aries (rather than Libra or Aquarius)?

Etc.

Sag Mercury --> favorites are Scorpio, Pisces, Leo Mercury. (well, I like all of them, but I find that earth mercuries and I don't like to talk about the same things)
Virgo Mars --> favorites are Leo and Aqua Mars
Sag Sun --> favs are Scorpios, Virgos, Libras for friends
Scorp Venus --> Scorpio
